I bought this Ecosphere back in 2013. It’s 10 years later, and the little guy is still with me. For the last year I thought he was finally gone. But he popped his head out today. These guys can live for up to 20 years. Anyhow, it’s a self contained world, everything is recycled.

Remembering a few more details about the makerbot cupcake. This is the predecessor of the Boden extruder which was an advancement on the original makerbot design. Happy New Year, Everyone!
Still in mid process of moving, about 50% complete. Will start rebuilding the lab again tonight.
I’ve now got all the printers, from my original cupcakes, to printerbots, and strange ones like the qu’bd (pictured here) that never quite worked, in the same room as my working printers.
Going to take some photos of printers generation by generation.

It’s official. The move is on. You don’t often get a chance to rebuild your entire lab, and I’m going to make the most of this move.
