My seven day peel process with the Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel.

This is a treatment I do once a year in the winter time for skin rejuvenation.

Day 1 - After the peel, I felt a bit drowsy, and my skin felt slightly tight and warm. During the day, my skin slowly started to turn red and I felt as if I had a sun burn.

Day 2 - Arter the second application, my face became dark red. Clients who saw me in the studio said I looked “very tanned”. I left the house with a mask and hat on as I needed to protect my skin from the sun.

Day 3 - My skin was very dark in colour at this point from the layers of dead skin. I was also really tight, making it harder to move my mouth and eat.

Day 4 - Was when I felt frustrated and irritable, probably the hardest day for me. I woke up feeling very stiff. The dry skin on my face felt so tight. However, during the day, some skin lifted around my mouth, meaning I was able to trim the skin down. This gave me a bit of relief.

Day 5 - 6- Once the skin started lifting a bit around my mouth and nose region, I felt much better. I avoided touching my face to avoid the temptation of peeling the skin.

Day 7-The skin was ready to be peeled off, followed with red light therapy.

The season had come to an end for this treatment, unless you do not go in the sun, commit to a scarf or face shield, hat and reapply your sunscreen when out doors.

This treatment is my go to treatment for overall skin rejuvenation and brightening.

With this treatment you cannot wet your face, no makeup for 7 day’s. It has to be planned out in advance as you might want to take four or five days off work.

But in 7 day’s you will have fresh new glowing skin! Your sun spots, sun damage, Melasma will be half of what it was. Your pores will be tighter, your skin overall will be tighter, eyelids lifted and less crappy. Your skin will be glowing!

Over the next several months her skin will continue to improve, fine lines and wrinkles will be less noticeable as the skin is creating new collagen.
