Well, this was a cool morning... Thanks to @motocorseofficial 's sponsorship of the VR46 team, they were very friendly and inviting to me when I introduced myself. Next thing you know, I was in the paddock and found myself hanging out with the most interesting man of the day, @andreaiannone . Tomorrow's goals? To get some time in the garage with the Pramac Racing Team, and the Gresini Team, then I'll be watching the Sprint race from the paddock roof which offers great visibility of 1/3rd of the track (and a jumbo tron as a bonus). #ducati #sepang #motogp #bellissimoto

UPDATE TIME!!! We took 1st place!!! In the adventure class (I was mistaken at first because we were 3rd overall by time in the 1st race group, which held several classes). Riding a nicely equipped Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak from @ducatiphilippines (thanks again guys!), I put in 15 solid laps in that race and was having an absolute ball on the bike. It's so much more flickable on track than I would've imagined, the large upright position is perfect for my tall body and I could throw it down in the tight right hand corners and drag knee on it in ways I never managed on the BMW S1000RR I was competing on in the SBK class later in the day (more on that later). #ducati #bellissimoto #multistradav4spikespeak #multistradav4 #club200 #enduranceracing

Warning! Removal of noise reduction inserts may harm overall performance... yeah, riiiggghhhhhhht. I asked their tech if they believe that and he said "No, pull them out!" A Lemans start! Phil did the Qualifying for our team. So he was the man who had to start the race, which is a small shame, because something tells me i'm a little more limber and a little quicker running across the track and starting the bike. However, Phil is no slouch on the track as he was quickly putting down lap times of 2:15 . Enjoy 90 seconds of a lap around the clark international speedway with me. I'll hit a few apexes, I'll blow a couple, but I'm still getting faster! First session I was running 2:35's, after 5 sessions I was pulling 2:18's and I'm excited to get back out there and keep pushing. Friday's goal is to be under 2:10, and Saturday, if I'm lucky I'll get into the 2:05's during the endurance race. Now this isn't a full lap in this 90 second clip, and I'm just having fun out there, but... I will be posting complete onboard flying laps from my Forcite MK1S Smart Helmet after Friday's sessions on our YouTube channel, so tune in for that as well.
