Some beach time for Grizzly before his week-long stay in Carlsbad for Radiation surgery for a newly diagnosed brain tumor. The veterinarian is optimistic and so am I! (Of course I couldn’t leave chuck at home!)

Nothing better than a good college game and seeing Ted and Heidi before and during halftime!

Catching the Raiders-Steelers game with Jason Feinberg and other FOX5 Las Vegas friends. Which the result was different but a fun time. I’m sure my friends in Pittsburgh are happy!

Reuniting with Christine Maddela and Olivia Fierro in the same room! So great to see them and other FOX5ers at Olivia’s Tequila Corrido event!

Hanging out with some of my high school friends for a 40th reunion! I had to stop by the beach where I lifeguarded for 4 summers and my grandparents old house!

An early tribute to my Mom led by her bestie Esther! We put flowers into Burt Lake, a place my Mom loved and would sail, windsurf(!), and love on her children and grandchildren. ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Thank you Admiral!

A beautiful life came to an end today. My mom passed away peacefully in her own home, surrounded by family and her beautiful cat Duncan. Thank you Mom for being my fiercest advocate. In the final weeks of your life, you gave me career advice which I wisely followed. More importantly, you were a role model on how to live life on your terms and how to face the inevitable with grace and good humor. You were a skilled sailor who navigated life’s curveballs with equal dexterity. I love you so much and I’m so honored to have been a part of your life for nearly six decades. I will think of you every day. I picture you with Keehn sailing somewhere as beautiful as you are to me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💔

Taking Mom’s bestie out for a spin on a very smoky day (Canadian wildfires). The skiff was built in 1953!

In Northern Michigan this week for an early celebration of Mom’s 92nd! Took her to see the lake that she loves so much. I’ll be back next week!

When I decided to trust what my gut was telling me- that it was the right time to take a leap and explore new professional pursuits- I felt excited, grateful, sentimental, hopeful, even a little giddy. That was months ago, pages and pages away on the calendar. It didn't feel real.
But, life moves fast, and now this is real. My last day in TV news is NEXT THURSDAY! That adds a lot of feelings to the mix (Hello self-doubt! Is that you again, fear of change?!)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there. You rock and I love you Mom! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A great time helping out two organizations dedicated to adopting out animals. Saturday it was Bark Rescue with the Nevada SPCA Life-Saving Shelter and Sunday it was Best In Show with the The Animal Foundation. A lot of dogs went home with new families and that makes me 😍

Looking forward to emceeing this again Sunday with Chet Buchanan!
