Coming later this year to Westside Trains & Hobbies...Carrera Digital Slot Cars. I am very excited to add these 1/32 slot car products to our store. They have been very fun to test run, and I'm all in on this one.

What a great month so far at the train store. So many new people entering the hobby. A very busy day today with Santa taking pictures with pets and kids. Just love my job. After a crazy week treated myself to a couple chocolate martinis and one of my favorite movies. Just me, sing alone (probably a good thing) with the dogs, but so lucky to have the life I have right now. Best hobby in the world with some of the best people I've ever met! Merry Christmas everyone.

So busy in the train store the past few months. So many estate sales. Never picked anything from them, but today I treated myself from the new arrivals. Yes, N Scale and DCC/Sound. I just couldn't resist. Don't work in a train store if you have a train addiction!

To better server those looking for a train for this holiday season we will now be open on Tuesdays till Christmas. Don't wait, stop in the store now and shop for that special someone, even if it is a gift certificate.

This is the kind of work I love bring home with me....yeah, after working at the store I still find time to work on projects that have been sitting at the store. A nice G Scale unit that had a hack job done installing a battery that never worked. Now my job is to give it a little TLC, bring it back to DC with Sound. Almost there! Then it will be available for sale at the store. I so love my job.

Besides working on Westside Trains' new website, while I'm at the store I have also been busy cleaning up on other 1200 square foot area. New shelves, test track and bought some nice display cases. All G Scale now have their very own area. How cool.

A rough week, long over due glass of wine and one of my favorite Nicolas Cage films. Fun fact. Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls inspired an illusion I did 25 years ago on stage. Yup, I was a magician. Remember this for Wednesday's Who's Big Bill Talking Too on YouTube it might come in handy. Just saying. Yup, Buzzed and it feels right! Till Wednesday.
