Did.... Something. Not sure I really like it. Might put this on hold for a bit while I think of next steps
Process
+ Mistakes
I think one of the best pieces of advice I ever received was along the lines of, "don't be committed to a mistake just because you've put a lot of time into it."
In accounting, there's a concept called "sunk costs". Money or resources that have been spent that cannot be recovered.
In painting, the inside of these boxes now have an originally unintended white undercoat, that I decided was taking too long, and wasn't achieving what I had originally wanted.
In other words a mistake. But also practice, a learning experience, an experiment.
If you make a mistake, just put some paint on top and call it an undercoat. Or primer.
Don't be so committed to your original thought that you see anything else as failure. It's just an evolving creation. Like we all are.

Why do I always decide stippling is a good idea?

Hello friends!
I know I've been M.I.A. for a bit. I'm excited to announce that I'm back!
Very excited that my venture back into the art vortex is at the verifiably stunning Vau de Vire spectacular, The Soiled Dove! I'll be displaying a few pieces in the big top along side some truly unbelievable artists!
Check out all the amazing performers, artists, art, and, of course, craft cocktails at 19th and Telegraph in Oakland! Preorder tickets online because shows often sell out!

I've been really terrible about posting on here since moving to SF. It was a rough transition, but thanks to one of my oldest and dearest friends, and many newly dear ones, I'm getting settled in and back to sketching more. Here's my latest WIP of the lovely lady mentioned above:
Finally getting up to date on my Instagram!
