Since it’s stormy season here in Oklahoma, just thought I’d share my over-prepared dog mom advice/reminder for tornados, flooding, hurricanes, nuclear war, meteor crashing into earth? We might be all dead but if not…

If you have fur babies:
-Have kennels ready for any pets that require that for safe transportation (cats)
-make sure all the fur babies are wearing their collars with identification tags on!
-have a “go bag” ready with all their harnesses and leashes just in case of a quick exit.
-if sheltering in place just keep the go bag in the safe place in case the roof of your house blows off or something 🤷‍♀️

This is not a fully comprehensive list, but it’s what I do. And that’s the full extent of my “emergency kit” it’s just animal stuff. 😂

We are ready for the explosions, I mean… fireworks… 2 of the pups are sensitive to the loud noises. Rebel does better in a thunder shirt while Cookie seems to do well in just a little shirt. We will be watching loud movies in the bedroom to distract them and handing out CBD and Melatonin treats to keep them calm. Happy 4th!
