After waiting patiently, I can finally share the latest name sign I made for a toddler who absolutely loves Disney just like his parents!

This was a labor of love and have learned some new things while I was working on this piece. Excited to work on the next custom request!

Been painting the pieces to this themed name sign. It’s good meditation believe it or not especially when my son is over at my mom’s house 😂

Roughly 7hours later, all the pieces minus the missing ones have been sanded w rounded corners! It’s starting to look better than having the pieces all flat.

💌📦 Compact stand update!

While my laser machine was down last weekend, my friend over at CMYKrafts and CMYCAKES let me borrow her laser machine so that I can finish the last bit of cuts needed! This enabled me to package all of your orders and get them all labeled! So thank you so much Cindy!! 🥰

That being said, I didn’t get to document a lot of the process as I was running really low on time. Outside of my FT job, I can only work on my side business a few hours each Saturday and I had to get all orders including my Etsy shop before Xmas since I will be traveling to Colorado for a month.

If I don’t get back on here before Xmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to you all! 😘. I pray that next year will be bigger and better for us all!!

Progress have been made but a lot of time and material wasted 😓. I am half way there and I am hoping to get these finished when I’m back in the studio next Saturday so that I can start packing and creating mailing labels the following Saturday.

From working on this, it seems that 1/8” acrylic is LESS forgiving than 1/4” acrylic when it comes to inserts. I have to add at least .0015 thickness to get the pieces to fit into the slot without cracking.

Compact Stand Update!

Hello all! For those of you who have preordered the compact stands, I will be working on them starting this weekend!

Production is starting a little late. As some of you know, my husband is in the military and he was sent home this past weekend last minute to move. So I’ve been running like a chicken with its head cut off trying to purchase what is needed and then basically move a storage, some stuff from my parents house and half of his house into a U-Haul within 1-2 days and drive to the new state. What should’ve been a 13hr drive ended up being 18hrs and that was brutal! It probably didn’t help that we only had 4hrs of sleep the night before! 😅

But now I’m back home and I think I found my head! 😂

The studio move in the future to the new state will be interesting. I think I will forego the U-Haul trip and just do PODS or something. Not sure I want to go through that again. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

You can never go wrong with gold mirror acrylic. Just something about the reflection of your environment on the stands that makes it more cool.

Since I posted the first WIP of the rod itself, I have updated all the metallic gold to use mirror as it just looks so much brighter with the reflections. Plus it looks more uniformed w the mirror base. 👌🏻

✨ Vinyl decal ✨

Something a little different today. I use to make vinyl decals ions ago. Now I just design and have my sister make them.

I’ve been wanting to decorate my truck for awhile and finally was able to these last couple of weeks. Originally I purchased a Studio Ghibli svg design that looked cool on Etsy but upon opening the file, I was disappointed w the quality of the design. 😕 Ended up redesigning it but adding characters I liked.

Then last night I stayed up until 1working on some Sailor Moon designs.

Really like how they turned out and the placement of the decals.

I still want to create a huge piece for the tailgate with Kurama’s (from Naruto) eyes since my truck’s name is Kurama 😂

Finally got to making this stained glass resin coaster this past weekend. It was a design I sketched up while I was on maternity leave in 2021 😂.

I liked how it looked in the mold and then I didn’t after I took it out. As you can see from the pics, when you put it against something not light, it looks weird. Will try again this weekend and make the bottom a translucent white. Thoughts?

Hello my tribe! WOW, it is February already and I haven't been active since last year! Where has the time flown?​​​​​​​​

How has everyone's new year been so far?​​​​​​​​

It has been CRAZY since November. 2 days after my sister's wedding, my FIL passed away. Since then I've been working my FT job sporadically throughout the day as I had to take care of my son while the SO took care of everything from working with the crematory, VA hospital, VA cemetery and basically handling everything that was under his dad. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
In the middle of this, we find out that he leaves for basic military training on 1/10 which only gave him a few weeks to get as much done as he could before I had to take over anything that was unfinished.​​​​​​​​

Since he left, it's been even more stressful with trying to work and care for our son FT. I literally broke down the first week and screamed at everyone including the dogs. >_
