Global Science Directive

History

Global Science Directive (GSD) is a research company situated at the intersection of academia and the private sector. Many high-impact projects are pursued scholastically but often fail to be implemented post-publication whereas, in for-profit business, many projects are pursued for economic gain and not necessarily for societal benefit. GSD was founded as a bridge between the two worlds where projects can be explored with the rigor of academia followed by implementation in the private sector. Furthermore, as a nonprofit entity, GSD is free to advance projects of great scientific and societal value without being fundamentally constrained by the profitability of the project.

Our team of researchers, interns, students, and collaborators work together on a variety of different projects in several different fields including, but not limited to: Stem Cell Biology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Astrophysics. We have had achieved many great accomplishments in our brief history and are enthusiastic about the upcoming year. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our donors and collaborators for they truly are responsible for all the successes we have attained thus far and for the accomplishments we will accumulate in the years to come.
