The Las Vegas modern Kung Fu school has been making waves at the Golden State Wushu Championship
The Las Vegas modern Kung Fu school has been making waves at the Golden State Wushu Championship with their impressive performances and numerous medals and awards. But beyond the accolades and recognition, what really sets this school apart is their focus on personal growth and self-improvement.
Standing in front of a panel of judges and a crowd of spectators takes tremendous courage and self-confidence. By competing in these championships, the students are not only showcasing their physical abilities but also their mental strength and resilience. Overcoming the nerves and pressure of competition is a valuable skill that will serve them well in all areas of life.
But the benefits extend far beyond the competition itself. The students are constantly learning and growing through the process of training and preparing for these events. They are gaining discipline, focus, and perseverance – qualities that will not only help them succeed in Kung Fu but in all their endeavors.
So while the medals and awards are certainly a testament to the skill and dedication of the Las Vegas modern Kung Fu school, it is the personal growth and development of the students that is the true measure of their success.
Jonathan Payuom's relentless dedication and unwavering aspirations have culminated in his well-deserved selection to the U.S. Wushu Junior Team. His tireless efforts and commitment to the sport have ultimately borne fruit.

Our school is proud to announce that our student, Nathan Ly, has achieved a remarkable feat by winning 1st place in the 30-second NANDU (difficulty movements) creative event at the 16th world wushu championships. Nathan's hard work and dedication have finally paid off, and we owe a great deal of gratitude to our instructors, SIFU JJ and ZULA, for their unwavering support and teachings. Furthermore, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Coach Yasong, Biruk, Jay, Michael, and other members of the coaching team who have dedicated their time and effort to focus on Nathan's wushu techniques, deductions, body conditioning, and acrobatic skills. Their collaborative efforts have been instrumental in shaping Nathan into a wushu champion. We are also grateful to guest coaches such as Jiang Bangjun and Li Qiang, who have provided valuable insights and suggestions to enhance Nathan's training. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to the parents and students of Las Vegas Modern Kung Fu for their unwavering support and dedication, as they have truly exemplified what it means to treat each other like family.
