I am a caregiver for a man's wife with dementia who is bed-bound and can no longer speak. The husband coordinates all her care and spends a lot of his days alone. The one pleasure in life that he really adores is food. A lot of the nurses don't cook for him, but I enjoy bringing him some comfort. He has a lot of health restrictions, but asked for a very rare steak with mushrooms the other night. I was happy to oblige him 💕
