Here’s a throwback from 14 months ago when I was (nervously) walking into my 8 hour practical exam for becoming a Comité International d’Esthétique et de Cosmétologie (CIDESCO) diplomat. This month it officially became official when my diploma arrived from Zurich, Switzerland. It’s kinda a big deal, being it’s the highest qualification in the esthetics profession. Less than 600 skincare professionals hold this designation in the United States. A CIDESCO diploma is awarded to candidates who have also passed a written exam, submitted an extensive research study and completed at least 600 hours professional experience. Look out world - I can now work in nearly 40 countries!
