loads of fun making masks in the last art session of the school year. but first, we discussed how other people see us vs how we see ourselves and the weight of those perceptions.

navigating some of our most important relationships and opportunities can be tricky if we aren’t honest or confident in our abilities and worth. sometimes it’s scary to show up at risk of rejection or failure. sometimes that pressure causes us to doubt, hesitate, dilute, regress, overcompensate, or conform.

but we shouldn’t have to hide. we are all beautiful. we all deserve to connect higher with ourselves and each other ✨❤️

what makes you hide? how do you overcome it? do you care about what other people think of you? should you? what makes you proud of yourself? what makes you beautiful?

i hated using markers as a kid so i think that’s why it took so long to finally try the alcohol based ones i got last year. needless to say, THESE WERE AWESOME! the blending.. the layers.. just 🤯 anyway, made this baby following a nice youtube series by ...i may have gotten a little impatient/careless with the scales 😅 still had a lot of fun trying a different style and incorporating a new medium.
