After a GRUELING two weeks of rain and slop, we finally knocked it out. Thank you to another great customer in Brittany Lakes!

So, while we were at a customers house, this momma duck came strolling down the sidewalk with her babies. Other than her “special” baby, she waddled up with her own security flock!

These guys set up a perimeter when momma brought the babies in the yard to investigate our fence project and wouldn’t let us on the grass. THEN, when momma duck came back to the sidewalk (babies in tow) and proceeded to the neighbors house, they set up a security watch for maybe 10 minutes along the sidewalk.

They only gave us a small opening (pictured), that THEY directed us towards, in order to access the yard!!

Never in a million years did I think I would be placing one of these crosses road side. On Saturday, a US ARMY Veteran, father, and son, loved by his community, family, friends, and peers, tragically lost his life in a single vehicle accident in League City. Rest easy brother, we’ll take it from here.

This is why you call Texas 811 before you dig. The white marks represent PROPOSED post placement marked by Home Logic. The orange marks are the mainline for Comcast and the residents service feed for their cable TV. Had we dug without calling 811, we would have cut off all residents on Winecup Ln and cut off cable TV to this customer. Please make sure your contractor is calling 811. Any fence builder that says they can “get to you tomorrow” is definitely not complying with the LAW!

Trying to work through the rain and mud to finish fences for customers and catch up our backlog.

Special thanks to Jacob with USIC, one of the many people out working to mark underground utilities, for meeting with me today in The Meadows subdivision at a customers home who neighbors a critical pipeline and has critical Frontier feeds in their backyard. He took time to answer several questions I had about the delayed 811 tickets and also informed me that most field technicians have between 100-150 fence tickets each that they are trying to get to in a timely manner. Thank you USIC and all the techs out there trying to restore normalcy for customers and contractors!

As we all bare the burden that Beryl left behind, some to different degrees, we all have a sense of urgency for normalcy. On behalf of all contractors of all crafts, I just ask for everyone’s patience as we are all working 10, 12, and 16 hour days. Working tirelessly to get to quotes, obtain materials, meet with different municipalities, all while maintaining sincere interactions with our customers, send out invoices, send out quotes, and maintain quality time with family. Today, the teams at Home Logic worked through the rain to ensure our customers properties were secure and deliver materials as they became available. I would like to thank everyone for being patient and understanding during a natural disaster as all of us contractors work to restore normalcy.

Roofs all done! And I’d also like to thank the residents of The Meadows Subdivision for trusting a local contractor like me to do the work on their house! I have been overwhelmed with phone calls!

New roof going on! We were lucky enough to get material and get going before everyone got tied up.

Trying to make the best out of a bad situation. No power so we gathered neighbors and their meat and cooked!
