Getting ready for two craft shows in April - Pickford, MI, on the 23rd and Sault Sainte Marie, MI, on the 30th. My first craft shows in 35 years! Super excited to see and talk with everyone - and share my wares!

Spring is on my mind - although we will have at least two more months of winter - should start to thaw by the end of April with possible cold temps in May or early June. Quite a difference from the Kentucky weather we left two years ago. But I love it! I've worked on my spring collection of tissue boxes for the last couple of months. Love the lilac, sky blue, avocado green and pink! Two more to come - mango and butter.

This red, yellow and blue tissue box cover is made in the Rustic Romantic Yarn Bee shades of Red Roads, Okie Wheat and Blueberry Bushel. This yarn has a small hint of off white throughout the different shades - you can send this in the photographs. The stitches in this pattern are fun - several different Mosaic stitches, Gobelin stitch, Scotch stitch and Tent stitch. As a boutique size tissue box cover, it takes up less room on a table, counter or desk.

Just finished a new product! This peach and green tissue box cover is a delightful mixture of wide and narrow strips of shades of peach and green - with a variegated top of small stitches of all four colors. The green yarns are Red Heart Light Sage and Frosty Green. The peach is I Love This Yarn Mango and Light Peach. Last month I made this in pinks and greens - it sold the next day. Perhaps this is the color combination for you? I think it would look nice in two yellow shades with green, or lavender and green. This boutique style takes up less room on a counter, table or desk.

This three shades of green tissue box cover is made with, from light to dark, Yarn Bee The Soft Standard Fern Leaves, Yarn Bee Soft & Sleek Kale and Lion Brand Wool Ease Forest Green Heather. The forest green heather has highlights of yellow and light green. The colors are gorgeous, but the most amazing feature of this tissue box cover is the number of different stitches used throughout - Railroad Tracks, Tent, Herringbone Crossed, Sheaf, Gobelin Padded, Tied Windmill, Smyrna Cross, Mock Wheat, Horizontal Fly, Alternating Mosaic, Cross over two, Cross over one, Scotch and Tied Cross. This was so much fun to make! As it is a boutique style tissue box cover it takes up less room on a counter, table or desk. And it could be made in any color combination. Is this one for you?

This brown and gold tissue box cover may be a bit understated, but it is a glorious mixture of Lion Brand Heartland Sequoia and Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek Wheat yarns. I love the sequoia yarn with it's dark saturation with bits of light and darker colors. This is set off perfectly with the gold Wheat yarn. As a boutique size tissue box cover this is perfect for a smaller spot - takes up less room on your counter, table or desk. The Byzantine pattern is a mixture of sizes. This bright pink and green teapot with yellow French knots is my first design for a tissue box cover. I was quite pleased with how it turned out. Since a cup of tea is in my daily schedule, and I have over 100 teapots I've collected over the years, it seems suitable that my first design would feature my passion. This boutique size tissue box cover would be perfect for any kitchen, dining room - or any room for a tea fanatic. Fancy this as a pot of Earl Grey, Chamomile, or your favorite tea. Mine is a Creme Brulee from Churchill Teas in Cincinnati. The shape of the teapot, handle and spout is based on a Hall's China teapot I bought years ago at an antique shop - now sitting atop one of the bookcases in my office. Enjoy!
