We got flags! We replaced some flags on a customers rental homes. As you can see in the pictures, one of the posts was damaged from previous flag holders. We patched and painted the posts and used straps in addition to screws to make sure this flag holder doesn’t go anywhere! No job too big or small!

Another project in the books! A previous contractor incorrectly rerouted the fresh air intake and vent for the furnace so they could build a deck over top. Not good. Another jobs in the books! We replaced the customers existing laminate flooring with new vinyl planks. The new vinyl flooring is waterproof and durable making it great for anyone with children or pets.

We installed the flooring under the baseboards and door frames eliminating the need for unsightly quarter round. We finished off with new transition strips to give it a nice clean finished look.

Another project in the books! We replaced this old wooden exterior door with a new one that has a composite jamb and molding!

This eliminates the customers need to paint to protect the door frame and trim. We also installed a deck gate that matched the existing deck railing.

This is the second half of our deck project. The larger deck was a little more involved than the smaller one.

We started by removing all of the old floor boards and replacing all of the damaged lumber. We then installed a deck waterproof system so the customer could enjoy the lower patio in any weather, even rain!! This system used troughs in between the joists to catch the rain water and direct it to a dedicated gutter system.

Once the water proof system was installed and tested we installed new composite deck boards. We then moved onto the stairs. We laid out, cut and installed new stair stringers and stair treads on both the upper and lower platforms. New vinyl railing was installed all the way around to complete the upper portion of the deck.

We finished by building a soffit around the gutter and installing a metal under deck across the entire bottom of the deck to give it a clean finished look.

Another project in the books! This was one of our larger projects this year. So big it needs two posts!!

A customer contracted us to rebuild both of the decks on his property.

Starting with the smaller of the two, we removed the existing deck. We then framed out a brand new larger deck. After installing new composite deck boards, we started in on the stairs.

The customer had some nice large stones that the old deck didn’t utilize very well. We were able to dig up and reset the stones to act as a landing for the bottom of our stairs.

Next up was laying out, cutting and installing our new stair stringers. We completed the stairs by painting the stairs and installing composite stair treads.

We finished by installing new vinyl railing all the way around.

Another project in the books! We swapped out a customers old and weathered door and replaced it with a brand new door. The existing door was replaced years ago, but was installed backwards with the hinges facing toward the outside. With the hinges being outside, they are easily accessible to would be criminals making it easier to remove the door and enter the home.

We started by removing the old door and prepping the area. We then installed our new door, making sure to install our flashing and seal as necessary. Once the door was plumb and level, we attached it to the opening.

After that, we used spray foam to fill the gaps, then we cut and fit our interior door trim. We finished by installing and adjusting the lock set, and checking the door functioned flawlessly!

Another job in the books! This is the inside of an exterior wall with termite damage. Luckily the homeowners discovered the termites and had a pest company come out and treat before the damage became any worse.

We started by removing the drywall to determine the extent of the damage to the interior framing. We then built a brace to support the wall so we could cut out the damaged lumber. We removed the bottom plate, several studs and part of the subfloor.

We then replaced all of the damaged lumber with brand new lumber. After that we put new insulation and finished with new drywall.

Another job completed! We were contracted to replace 2 doors on an old home in Hershey.

We started by removing the old doors, door hardware and thresholds. After installing brand new adjustable thresholds we went to work on the new doors!

The customer supplied us with 2 solid wood door slabs. We began be cutting and fitting each one to the proper dimensions. Due to the age of the house, each door had to be cut and fitted independently, which is not uncommon in older homes.

Next we laid out and fit the hinges to the door, making sure to match the respective hinge inlay in the frame from the previous door.

After the hinges were installed and the doors were hung, we proceeded to lay out and drill for the door k**b and deadbolt. We then installed brand new peepholes in each door.

We finished by adjusting the thresholds and door hardware to ensure the doors were working flawlessly. What a difference the new doors made to appearance of the house!

Another project in the books! The old wooden fence had become weak and rotten after 25 years and blown over in a storm. The customer wanted a vinyl fence with a gate “large enough to drive a mower through” that matched their existing deck railing as a replacement.

So we got to work! We removed what was left of the existing fence and we installed a 4’ vinyl picket fence with a 6’ wide gate!

Another installment of pictures from the job site. We were tasked with building a brand new bathroom from an existing area that was half of a Jack and Jill bathroom containing just a vanity and and part of a walk in closet.

After the layout was approved, we started by removing the wall that separated the two rooms and framing out for the new bathroom. We then moved two existing doors, one that went to an existing bathroom and one that went to the existing closet, and installed them in at the entrance to the new bathroom and the entrance of the new closet. The hole left left from removing the door in the existing bathroom was patched, a new piece of trim was added and the entire room was painted.

The plumbing was then roughed in. A new exhaust fan and recessed lights were also installed. Next we installed mold and mildew resistant drywall, finished and painted the new bathroom.

After that we installed a porcelain tile floor, a new tub with surround, new toilet and replaced the existing vanity. Next we installed the tub fixtures and trim. Finally we then installed and finished drywall in the closet, painted and added trim.

This was a large project with a lot different pieces. There was framing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, painting and trim work!

Here's another installment of pictures from the jobsite. This is a follow-up job to the laundry room we did a few months ago. We removed the old second floor laundry room so that it could be converted into another bedroom.

We removed the plumbing for a washing machine and slop sink, the old washing machine pan, the dryer gas line and receptacle, and removed and patched the hole for the dryer vent. We then patched the drywall, floor and exterior of the house. When we finished, you couldn't even tell this room, was anything other than a bedroom!

Here is the the first installment of pictures from the job site Facebook blast. We recently completed a bathroom upgraded. We worked with the customer and installed a new shower, exhaust fan and flooring. They took care of installing the vanity, toilet and painting.

We replaced the existing molded shower with a shower pan and panel surround. The prep work on something like this is critical for a good end product. After removing the existing molded shower, we discovered the water lines were just bent around the outside of the joist and the framing was far from plumb and square.

Before installing the new shower we took the time to frame the area properly. We then ran all new plumbing. After we squared up the area and made sure everything was plumb and level, we installed the new shower pan. We set the shower pan in a bed of mortar to make sure it was rock solid. We then applied a water proof membrane before installing a panel shower surround. We finished the surround with a special water proof sealant. This is a critical, but often overlooked step. After the shower was in place, we installed new fixtures, including a grab bar.

Next up, we installed a new bathroom exhaust fan and finished the job by installing new flooring!
