I hope you guys haven’t forgotten about me! Things have been crazy lately… saving dogs, crushing nursing school, along with a long list that includes very little free time.

I’d like to share a little bit about myself and how I came up with the idea for my small business, Woof Wear.

First of all, I’m 22 years old with two rescue dogs of my own.
Axel, a shepherd/husky/chow mix is my two year old heart dog. He came to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County as a 6mo old stray from Texas.
Adler is a Belgian Malinois from the The Davis Dog Farm, who will be 1 on May 12th.

I began volunteering for The Davis Dog Farm in January of 2022 and shortly after that, I began fostering as well. It has been both difficult and fulfilling for my heart to welcome dogs into my home who have been abandoned, poorly bred, uncared for, etc.

I work multiple jobs, and have learned that it isn’t always easy for me to properly care for 3+ dogs at once, while still finding time for myself and my hobbies. More recently, I have learned to sew and found that I absolutely love how relaxing it is.

After many attempts to create a bandana for my dogs that is both durable and easy to apply/remove, I finally created a design that everyone is sure to love.
My bandanas are created as a 2-ply material with a quick-snap button attaching it together in the back (pictures to come).

It is important to me that I still involve myself with rescue dogs, so I’m creating my own bandana business that will donate 10% of all sales to a rotation of local rescues in my area.
