Center Manager for Hardin and LaRue Counties:

Central Kentucky Head Start is seeking applicants for the role of Center Manager for Radcliff (Hardin County) and Hodgenville (LaRue County). Center Managers are critical leaders for the program and oversee the overall operations of a particular center.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with Division of Child Care regulations and Head Start Performance Standards
• Staff supervision
• Perform periodic staff (collaboration) meetings
• Demonstrate and promote parent-staff partnerships
• Managing personnel records
• Ensuring the center is a safe facility. Includes inspections of safety features of building and playground safety, as well.
• Approve supply requests for center
• Serve as management team member for Head Start
• Other duties as assigned

This position reports to the Head Start Director. Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, Social Work or Management or an equivalent in a related field. Must be able to work in a team environment and possess leadership skills. Confidentiality must be maintained in accordance with agency policy and according to federal, state, and local regulations. Position will be open until filled.
