As I navigate childhood traumas, I am so beyond speechless that my son at the early age of 4 can so sweetly and intelligently navigate his own feelings. Brow Corrections: They are not a one size fits all type of situation! In fact, most cases require removal before we can correct. Here in my video is the before & after of a 4 hour long brow correction. My beautiful friend, Seyya, had microblading done 4 YEARS ago, and there is still so much pigment remaining in the skin. While a lot of us want to never have to fill our brows in again; that is not entirely the purpose of PMU. Our goal, as artists and professionals, is to educate you that this is to enhance your natural features while still giving structure, adding depth to the brow that fades nicely from the skin, without shifting to unwanted colors. This may require you to still slightly fill your brows in, with the right artist and design, this will be accomplished easily. I understand a low ticket price sounds appealing to your wallet initially. Maybe you know the artist? Maybe you aren’t sure exactly what you should be looking for? However, it could end up costing you more in the long run. Here’s why 👇🏻 Over time, our bodies break down molecules in the pigments. To put it into simple terms, the lighter colorants are the first to go, leaving behind (in Seyya’s case) blue and gray tones. Highly educated artists are charging for their education and skill to shift the appearance of your current brow tattoo. ✨5 tips to help your Permanent Makeup look amazing for long term!✨ #1: Avoid putting Retinol, Acidic, Chemical, and Fragrance filled skin care! Why? Because all of these products can cause pre-mature fading. #2: Apply Sunscreen to treated area. I know, I know.. we hear this all the time but it is very important for so many reasons. Including pro-longing your permanent makeup! #3: Groom the area! This will help keep the treated area looking fresh and defined so you aren’t having to apply makeup more than necessary! #4: Once you have completed your makeup, don’t forget to use a Q-Tip and Micellar Water to remove any excess makeup from the area. Face makeup can cause PMU to appear dull, light, and ashy. (No thank you!) #5: Don’t forget about your Refresh about 1-2 years after your initial Touch Up in order to keep your PMU looking fabulous! DO NOT let them fade away entirely as this is more work & product used for your artist so they WILL have to charge you extra!!! You also run the risk of needing a 6 week touch up again (costing you more money as well). If you’re unsure about when to come in, send your artist a photo of your PMU so they can help you decide! No but for real y’all let me take a moment to say something real quick.. 👩🏻‍🎨 Us artists have our rules for a reason and I don’t know a single artist these days who DOESNT require photos previous to booking an appointment if you have previous work of any kind (permanent, semi-permanent, microblading, microshading, Nano brows, etc.).ALL deposits are non-refundable booking fees, that means if you book and you didn’t tell me you have previous work 2 things can happen..1. You could lose your deposit AND be charged 50% of the remaining total for the service booked AND be turned away if I can’t work on you if the previous work is too dark/not a good shape/etc.. 2. You might be a lucky one who I can work on, but you come in here expecting a certain price and it ends up being more expensive than you thought because it’s actually a CORRECTION.CORRECTIONS = more time spent on fixing the previous work + more supplies used which means I have to charge more to cover cost of my time and supplies! Which can be a huge bummer for you if you come in expecting to be charged the normal pricing of a new client who has virgin skin (no previous PMU).So PLEASE.. keep this in mind when booking. There are plenty of warnings on my website to help you avoid this but if you’re ever confused I am just a message or text away!
