Race Report Mountain Creek Speedway Grand Prairie, Tx 4-10-15
This weekend Walker Motorsports had two drivers racing the 97X of Keith Martin and the 97 of Westin Walker. Westin started his heat race P8 and ran 4th. Transferring him to the A-Main and a redraw position. Keith started 1st in his heat race and slid back to 2nd still transferring to the redraw/ A-main. Westin redrew a 11 which caused him to start P3 in the A-Main Keith started P12. Westin would run 3rd throughout the whole race until the last corner in which his clutch burned up causing him to slide across 8th. Keith would end up finishing 12th. Not the night we were looking for. Next race TBA.
Race Report Gator Motorplex Willis,Tx 3/4/2015
Unfortunately the Walker Motorsports crew wasn't able to make it out to Gator but one of our drivers were. Westin showed up with the anticipation to make a comeback after his rough ride in his non-wing car at Greenville,Tx. Westin was able to make the race due to the Christain Kennison and his dad chris Kennison racing it. A lot of thanks goes to those guys for housing and taking Westin down since the team wasn't able to make the trip due to family vacation for Easter.
Westin had a decent car in hot laps. He started 4th in his heat but the carbs loaded up causing Westin to slide back to 8th Westin was able to come back up through the field and finished 5th. Unfortunately that wasn't good enough to lock in which he has been used to doing these past couple of races. Westin then in the B-Main started 7th had a rough start but was able to bring the car up to 6th sadly they were taking the top 4 so unfortunately he missed the A. A very sad and unimpressive race for Westin. Thank you so much to the Kennison family, Swcontracting, Texas Rose Horse Park and broadway Powersports. We're gunna bounce back this week either at Mountain Creek Speedway or Rpm speedway!

Westin Wayne Walker
Made one of the the toughest A-Mains in the country at I44 Riverside Speedway
Race Report I44 Riverside Speedway : 3/21/15-3/22/15 Westin was anticipating this big event. Westin started the non wing heat race in 5th place and ran 5th putting him position 11 in the qualifier where he drove up to 6th but that wasn't good enough he needed 3rd to lock in. So then Westin had to run a b-main the car was a rocketship he started 6th and took 2nd in the 1st lap and drove his self into the a-main. In aclass wing the luck was not there Westin started last in his heat race and finished 3rd putting him into position 1 in the qualifier but he fell back into 4th so he had to run a bmain starting 1st in the bmain he slipped back into 4th once again missing the transfer spot to the A-Main by 1.
Walker Motorsports next race will be this weekend at I44 riverside speedway located just outside of Oklahoma City.
lost the battle but the war isn't over.
Race Report Kennedale Speedway Park 3/14/2015 Westin Went out for hot laps and the setup was good just needed more gear. Than in the heat race Westin started 1st and finished 6th which in passing points is awful we completely missed the setup on the car. So Westin had to run a B-Main he started 4th row inside and had a pretty good car just was a little loose coming off. Westin moved up to 3rd for a while but the car was gradually getting looser so he slipped out of the transfer position and finished 5th. Not the night we were looking for the season opener of the TOWR series!
One week from today Walker Motorsports will be racing at Heart Of Texas Speedway with Westin Walker piloting!
Texas Rose Horse Park is back onboard this year for the 2015 racing season. So thankful and blessed to have Texas Rose Horse Park as a sponsor its crazy how much help they provide our team.

The Tulsa shootout was one to remember! Westin entered the event with determination and ready to win. In his first heat in non wing outlaw he started the race in 3rd and won. In his wing race he started 1st and won. That put him in 2 qualifiers in outlaw non wing he started 2nd and finished 8th in aclass wing he started 8th and finished 8th causing him to run 2 b-mains. In aclass wing he started 5th and finished 3rd top 2 transfer so he was done. In outlaw non wing he started 5th and finished 2nd. Causing him to start in the lcq in 17th. He needed a 8th place finish which he was able to accomplish. Westin then had reached his goal of making the biggest race in country. Sadly he was unable to participate due to a disqualification that he was unaware of and out team. But we are very proud of reaching our goal in making the Tulsa shootout A-Main on our 2nd try with very little experience. Thank you to everybody that made this possible Texas Rose horse park, swcontracting, broadway Powersports, Sessums racing, goad racing countless people made this possible.
Westin 97 sawyer chassis powered by Seros racing engines. Entered the first day of the tulsa Shootout with 2 heat wins. One in outlaw non wing which he started 3rd and a win in wing aclass which he started 1st. Can't thank our sponsors enough. Blessed to be having such a amazing shootout run so far. Time to see what God has in store for Westin the rest of the week!

Westin Walker had not the weekend he was hoping for. Westin started the heat race in 8th position and drove up to 4th. He started 8th in the qualifier he needed 4th to lock in the A-Main. He was running 4th until some bad luck hit him and his front wing came up into his face causing him to pull off cause he couldnt see. Then westin had to race a C-Main. He had to place a top 5 to transfer. He started 8th and came up to 5th. Not the weekend we have been used to and next is Longhorn Shootout November 28th and 29th!
The weekend at Boyd westin of the 97 sawyer chassis 626 seros powered started the heat race in 10th place and came all the way to 2nd causing him to be placed in the first position for passing points! Then he redrew 8 causing him to start the feature in 8th place. Had a really fast car but no where to go due to a one line track. So westin ended up finishing 9th. We would like to thank oursponsorsTexasrosehorsepark,Swcontracting,Broadway Powersports,Edge Graphix and Lewisville Autoplex!!
