Figure out who is in charge, not who should be in charge. Titles and sentimentality are nothing when power is everything. Know who you are interacting with before your act.

Got a friend who is constantly trying to fix you? Try saying, "I am glad that works for you, and I love to hear about your story! When you try to tell me what to do, it seems you think I need to be fixed or have you make my decisions. Is that your intention?" People are more often excited about what is working for them than realizing they are offending you.

Healthy relationships are the foundation of happiness just as unhealthy relationships are the foundation of depression and anxiety. What makes a relationship healthy and happy for you?

When we look for the bad in others, we will create blocks and pain in our own lives. But when we look for the good in others, we will find favor and opportunity for ourselves.

Are your people celebrating and encouraging you? Are they celebrating and encouraging themselves? Surround yourselves with achievers, or you will surround yourself with jealousy.

It isn't always best to speak your mind, but it is always necessary to speak your heart.
