I did a scalp analysis on a guest who had been experiencing some scalp issues & hair loss. She did see a derm who told her "to find someone to care for your hair."

Our first appointment was a consult where I asked a lot of questions, got her history, how she currently cares for her hair, etc.

Overall, her scalp looked good, except for that one little area where she has experienced hair loss & scalp issues. She did have some buildup.

We made an appointment to do a scope analysis, treatment, & cut.
We did the scope analysis first, the treatment, cut, & ended the services with another scope analysis to see how the treatment did.

Treatment did well!

Before she left, I emailed her her scope photos to show her new dermatologist.

I love doing scope analysis!!!
1️⃣ The photos are pretty freaking cool! Colorful are cool to look at with a scope!
2️⃣ It is an aid that shows us what we can't see with our naked eye
3️⃣ I get to email clients their photos so they can share them with their medical professionals.

I get this question a lot.
Some brunettes want a few little highlights AND still want to be a brunette.
They want to FEEL like a brunette.

There are many ways brunettes can get that dimension without feeling too blonde.

One of my favorite ways to create dimension on a brunette who feels too blonde is to use their current color as their highlight. I do this by picking out pieces like I would with highlights, put them in a foil with a treatment, & then color the rest of the hair the desired brunette color. This creates dimension, keeps the hair on the healthier side, & looks more natural.

💡When using a heat protectant before blow-drying or heat styling your hair, make sure you apply the heat protectant product on the ends of your hair first.
Then work the product up.

Your ends need the most protection because they have been out & about the longest & are the weakest area of your strands.

This color protecting shampoo & conditioner not only seals your cuticle, it also locks in hydration, color, & shine.

✨Gray Blending✨
There are many ways to blend gray. Depending on how much Salt (white) to Pepper (dark) hair you have, your end goal, your maintenance desire, depends on what technique is best for you.

For this lovely guest, her maintenance is highlights done with a light blonde COLOR.
I do NOT use any type of lightner/bleach. I use a light blonde color because it is perfect for her natural hair color, goals, & does the job without being too harsh on her fine hair.

Let's chat about pH & why it is important to know when you shampoo.
