It's that time of year when I get asked questions about hair shedding. Seasonal hair shedding in humans has only recently been studied, so there are still a lot of unknown factors. Here are some snippets from articles I've read on this topic.
🔆 Changes in air temperature and sunlight exposure are probable causes for seasonal shedding. Variation in daylight hours and increased uv rays may be a cause hair follicle damage leading to hair loss at the end of summer.
🍂 Typically, people see a larger shed in the fall and possibly a mild shed in the spring.
♻️ A variety of factors likely contribute to these shedding patterns, including melatonin, testosterone, thyroid hormones, and prolactin.
🗓 It is common for shedding to last a couple of weeks, up to a couple of months.
🥶 January and February are the months with the least amount of reported hair shedding.
🤒 Colder seasons prompt sickness, which can trigger stress, sleep deprivation, diet change, or dehydration, which can affect hair growth and hair loss

I will install hair from any source but I have been loving lately! They lay flat, give great coverage, and last up to 6 months. They are a pretty affordable option for good quality hair and offer payment plans if you're on a budget.
First install takes about 2-3 hours. About half of the time is spent finding the correct custom placement and blending the cut to match your natural hair.
Move-ups are every 6-10 weeks. It takes about 1.5 hrs to remove the weft, comb out hair shed and product build up, and reinstall the wefts. $150.

Want to prevent that sticky or dry pool hair feel? Try these tricks: fully wet your hair with tap or bottled water before entering the pool, use leave-in conditioner before entering the pool, avoid getting your hair wet, or use a clarifying shampoo followed by a moisturizing conditioner to replenish shinre and reduce tangles after pool usage.

Get your lashes looking fabulous for up to six weeks! The natural growth cycle lasts about six weeks, so the lash lift will "fade" as your natural lashes grow and shed.
A lash lift is basically a perm for your lashes. It chemically curls your lashes so they appear longer. After that, we tint the lashes black for a fuller look.

A warm blonde doesn't always mean GOLD or COPPER. It can just be a rich, sunny blonde that gives a more natural feel.
We took about 4 inches off, refreshed layers, added face framing and swoopy bangs. I chose to balayage for a more dimensional/bold blonde and toned to perfection. We also used Miracle Creator hair mask from Matrix to prevent breakage, control flyaways, help with tangles, nourish, smooth, and add shine.

Already, I've had 3 GWYG cuts and 4 GWYG colors. I've had an absolute blast with these so far! I have forgotten to take pics for most of them. I get too excited to pull back the curtains for the grand reveal 🪄✨️
