I use very few faux plants in my decor. I LOVE working with preserved moss, though. Here are a couple of my latest projects. I added a few faux fern sprigs as filler. 🌿

Never underestimate the power of paint!!

Create an inviting entry with color!! Terra cotta pots were painted to reflect the brick colors. A mix of annuals were used to fill them with color from spring to fall! Can’t wait to watch them fill out and the plants grow to full height!!

The foyer wall is starting to come together! Succulent accent piece, antique ceiling tile, antique to***co basket, handmade dragonfly from an artist in the Philippines, Bible verse metal art and handmade S.C. wood art from a WI artist! I may add something else. We will see. Now, to get my mom’s bed converted into a bench to complete this space!

I have a 2 story foyer with a large wall to decorate. I am putting together a collage of large unique items. I have a large, old to***co basket and this metal ceiling tile that was taken from an old general store in MN. It was painted red when I purchased it, but I wanted something a little more neutral for this house. Overall, my home is pretty contemporary, but I love adding in some old with the new!

Our front door came with clear side lights and a transom. I love the amount of light they let in but needed privacy. I have used blinds and window film in the past and knew I did not want either of those again. We priced changing out the side lights and 1- it was going to cost between $300-$400 and 2- I really didn’t like the choices. I wanted a rain glass look, something more fluid than the glass designs that were available. So, with a little research, I found the perfect solution spending less than $6 and only 30 minutes!! Temporary paper shades gone and another project ✔️ off my list!!
