We had a blast at Craft Axe Throwing- Lincoln, a delicious dinner at Momo Pizzeria & Ristorante, then finished the night off with drinks and an early birthday cake for Kaylee Bee💕💕

Do you struggle waking up in the morning? Would you give anything to be able to have another 15 minutes of sleep before getting up for the day?

I feel you. 🤦🏼‍♀️

That's why I make sure to take all the precautions I can to keep my hair looking good for several days.

And here’s how I extend the life of my style:

1. Dry shampoo at night to absorb oils while sleeping.
2. Loosely braid your hair or a loose bun on top of your head. 3. Sleep on a satin or silk pillowcase to reduce frizz.
4. Oil your ends before bed to keep them looking hydrated and happy!

Do you have a graveyard of old hair products you never use? 😩

If you’re like me, you might have a nice little collection of hair products somewhere collecting dust. Maybe you tried them and you didn’t care for them or maybe you’ve moved on to products you like better!

But for whatever reason, you’re still holding on to a collection of used products because they’re still good... but just not good for you. What should you do with them? 🤨

If you have non expired hair products that still have a lot of life, you can donate them! Many women’s shelters will accept hair products as donations! Check with your local women’s shelter for their donation policies for hair products. 😍

Otherwise, you can ship your donation to ! Project Beauty Share is an organization based out of Washington that provides personal hygiene, cosmetics and beauty products to non- profit organizations who serve women and families overcoming abuse, addiction, homelessness, and poverty to help restore hope and dignity in their lives. They’re truly doing great things and would put your donations to great use! ❤️

Something about the beginning of the year sends me into full on cleaning and organizing mode. Maybe it’s something about wanting to embrace a new year with a clean space.

But you might not have thought about cleaning this... even though you use it everyday. Can you guess what it is?

Your hairbrushes! 🤭🤭

It’s important to not only remove hair and debris from your hairbrushes, but also soak them in hot water with a little shampoo to remove product buildup and oils! 👏🏼

Life of a hairstylist: Holiday Season Edition 🎄

11:15 AM: Get to the salon while chugging my coffee ☕️
11:30 AM: Start client number one, yesterday’s towels, and coffee #2 🧼
11:30 AM to 8 PM: A chaotic blur. How many clients did I have? How many coffees did I drink? Did I even eat anything? 🤔🤔
8 PM: Finish last client, clean up, zone out sitting in my chair for a minimum of 30 minutes.
8:30 PM: Get home finally. Realize I’m starving and, in fact, did not eat anything at work. Ravage the fridge and inhale 1200 calories of food before even sitting down.
9:30 PM: Zone out on the couch for 30 minutes.
11 PM: Bedtime. 😴

Does anyone else’s days currently feel like this? 💀💀
