I can’t even explain how much custom molds have helped my on stage and in studio experience. They don’t move around, they don’t come out, even if you move around a lot on stage. Wedges are of the past.
If you've been on the fence about getting a pair of custom in-ear monitors that will actually STAY in your ears, PROTECT your hearing longterm, and provide you a with a SUPERIOR sound experience... WHY?! (But seriously, if you have questions, just ask!)
We don't think you should wait much longer. In fact, we believe that so much that you should probably keep your eyes peeled about some deals coming up that may be associating with a certain holiday ;)
No no trespassing signs. 🤷🏼♂️

Last night during a hurricane, I was playing in a small hotel bar in Bangor Maine (my first show in that state). Because of the weather, people’s travels had been delayed and they found themselves with nothing else to do but sit at the bar and listen to the random girl from Kansas sing.
When I quizzed the crowd I learned that everyone in this little room was from somewhere different. There was a man from Ohio who was taking his elderly parents on a road trip, a mother and daughter from Connecticut in town for a wedding, a lineman from West Virginia in town for work due to the storm, a group from South Carolina on vacation.. my mother and her boyfriend and friends among others.
They all listened intently to the music and requested original songs. It’s a rare thing to have the full attention of the room and I greatly appreciated it.. but I also really appreciate the opportunity music gives me to meet so many different people from so many different walks of life, to move them with a song and to bring them all together.
The moral of my story, I suppose, is to never pass up the opportunity to talk to a friendly stranger or to listen to that singer you’ve never heard of playing at the hotel bar.
Tour hangover is here, and it is real, my friends. Don’t forget to hug your local musician.
Almost home! Playing in Valentine tonight at

The last thing said to me before we parted ways this morning was “Andrew, get out and go climb a mountain today!”
I said, “Ya know what, Jon? I’ll do that!”
Buuuuut here I was this afternoon. 🤣
The time is near! My new record comes out on September 29th! Check the hyper-follow link in my bio, to pre-save the song to Spotify!

Whenever I see an old building boarded up, I think about the history there. How many shows were seen. I know nothing about this building. I don’t know when it was built, or when its last show was, how many couples fell in love there, or just shallowly made out in the back row. No one can say, but it’s always a little sad to see history become an old empty building where no more memories will be made, but that’s life. At least they left it here. If it was Lincoln, they’d tear it down and rebuild a big square box to stuff college kids in.

One Year Ago Today.
Though, the whole story dates back to a few months before that.
I was spinning my tires, working for others. Building the success for people who saw me as a tool, but not a human. I have no intentions of talking sh*t or putting those people down because it won’t do me or them any good. However, now that I’m here, looking back on the past 12 months, I can honestly say; cutting toxic people out of my life has been the single most effective and important thing to do, in order for me to be successful. I was in 5 bands last year. I quit! I quit everything. I said to hell with it, and I embarked on a solo journey that would take me all over the country, like it did in my 20s. With 60+ shows under my belt this year, and another 40 to go, I am able to stand tall and be proud of who I am, and of what I’ve built WITH MY FRIENDS over the past year and a half or so. Again, I’m not trying to call out anyone who hurt me (because it’s in the past and I don’t care), but rather to urge and remind YOU that it’s okay to cut toxic people out.
You may never know or find all the good that you’re missing, if you don’t. Toxicity will drain your good energy. Thanks to the people who actually are my friends; one year ago today, I released Hillside Street (my first music release since 2017). And as my world opened up, I slowly started realizing, that the sky was made for me to touch.

Smoked a whole pack of Polaroid photos on Sunday, and here are some of my favorites! Randomly meeting in the restaurant was a highlight in my life. was brilliant and every single band put on an exceptional set. Perfect day spent among friends and family.
I'm sharing this for a few reasons. Firstly, because I know I have a few fans in Alliance, and I'm hoping that you're able to support the Brewery the same ways you've supported me whenever I come to your town.
Secondly because I've been in this position with my music, and it's a really really dark place to be. When you look at the numbers and you aren't winning, it makes it really hard to "keep doing what you love." Passion doesn't keep the lights on, I'm sorry, but that's just the cold hard truth. I've spent more nights wrestling with this, than I care to count. I can't even tell you how many times I've thought about quitting music. But because of my support system, and because of small communities (like Alliance, NE) across America, I've been able to keep making music. I pray that the community of Alliance chooses to do the same for Brewery 719.
Lastly, I'm sharing this because B719 was one of the very first venues I played after covid. I was nervous, I had low confidence, I felt so green again. But they booked me and treated me like family. They literally helped put Alli and I back on the map after not playing shows for a long time. I'll always be thankful for that.
is being kind enough to have me back tonight! Come down for cold beer and hot live music!

When they said "Bring something to read," I don't think they were talking about Second Chapter Brewing. They've got the bevs, I've got the tunes. Let's go!
My friends see me at the coffee shop and they’re like “What are you up to?!” And I tell them I’m booking shows… 🤣
