As of yesterday we are at 10 baby goaties!! Mulan who is our sweetest and best mama out of the group dropped a shocker on us with quadruplets!!! Who doesn’t love baby goat snuggles?

Our spring kidding season is off to a good start! 6 baby goats dropped this week, and their mamas are taking good care of them. Here come all the baby goat snuggles!

Nighttime chores include catching rogue hens and herding the ducks into the quack shack…

Mike can officially sigh a sigh of relief with the last kids born tonight. Goats don’t really need any help when kidding, just a safe place to drop these babies. Except every now and then they do run into some trouble. This last spring one of the mamas had a breached baby, and we needed to intervene. We lost one baby but sweet Mowgli survived, but sadly got rejected from the mama. This fall season, 7 healthy kids dropped and are being taken care off by all their mamas. These babies have plenty of straw and shelter for these colder days, and we’re excited to see all the different personalities that’ll show with these cuties.

3 of our 4 mamas gave birth yesterday to 5 adorable kids ❤️. Our fall kidding season is off to a great start. About a week ago, we moved the expected mamas from the pasture to a smaller enclosure where we can keep a closer eye on them and they have plenty of protection from the elements and colder weather that’s about to come.

This little girl should be popping out some kids any day now.

Moved the bacon seeds to a new area, and built a shelter using reclaimed coffee tables.
