I just took 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places in the professional jewelry category at the Mineola League of the Arts art show.

Two pairs of sunglasses placed 1st, & 2nd, the gauntlet (bracer) placed 3rd.

I guess this clean sweep makes me an award winning jewelry artist now?

I just finished my final walk through and picked up the keys to my new building! Now that the space is empty I can start planning for Edom Art House. Be sure to follow the page for updates and announcements!

Over the next two weeks I'll be in and out of the space painting, renovating, and creating the floor design. After that, I'll be ready to start inviting certain artists and vendors to begin filling the gallery with their unique works.

If things track the way I want them to I should be ready for a grand opening by mid June. Please tag your local artist friends in this post.

My aunt and I spent the weekend at Avalon Faire and it was absolutely amazing!!

The Faire runs every weekend in April in Kilgore TX.

Our costumes were custom designed and they aren't finished yet. I have to return them to the designer after each show for more details to be added. I can't wait to show you the completed pieces.

This was my first time ever attending a rennaisance festival and now I see why they're so addictive. There's so much to see and do at Avalon. They've got jousting, sword fighting, belly dancing, blacksmiths, kings, queens, jesters, interactive fairies, games, and more.

I was blown away by the amount of time and creativity that goes into some of these costumes.

If you've never been to a rennaisance festival I'd highly recommend it. If you're in East Texas you still have time to catch a weekend in Avalon. It's in Kilgore Tx and it runs every weekend in April.

People loved my tiaras and sunglasses. I'll be back next weekend with more unique pieces of wire wrapped jewelry.

I'm doing a quick walk through to decide what items I'm keeping and what items the old owners are taking with them.

As most of you know by now, the Edom Art Emporium has closed but I'm building a new art gallery in it's place:-)

I'm excited to welcome in new artists and provide them a home to display their handmade works of art.

My vision for the new space is more than just an art gallery. I'd like to focus on upcycled furniture, art, jewelry, and a robust gift shop.

I'm currently working on contracts, systems, processes, designs, vendor's, etc..... I've got a looooooooooong road ahead of me and I'm grateful for the support of the community so far.

If you know artists in the Lindale, Tyler, Mineola, Edom, Ben Wheeler areas etc..... send them my way! I want artistisans who paint, sculpt, make jewelry, clothes, pottery, etc.

I'm looking for vendors who specialize in crystals & rocks, body products, herbs, aromas, candles, kids toys, etc.

I don't have specifics on a grand opening because April - mid May are pretty booked up for Wired Statements so I won't be focused 100% on the gallery until then. In the meantime, I'll be doing some small renovation & floor design. So, there may be a grand opening in mid June....🤞🏾🤷🏿‍♂️...

I've been going back and forth on a name for the new space and I think I like "Edom Art House". What do you think?

This is so exciting! I made an exclusive collection of jewelry for Visit Lindale TX and they loved it. They wanted to incorporate something local for all the tourists visiting our growing city and these are the designs they approved.

I made earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, keychains, and ornaments that give tourists fond memories of their special time at Old Mill Pond Museum and the fun things they did in Lindale.

This exclusive line will be available at Old Mill Pond Village gift shop within the next two weeks.

I had no idea what I was missing out on until I actually went to visit Old Mill Pomd Museum. This is definitely a local highlight and I see why it attracts a global audience.

I'm honored to have been selected to create art that represents my city and helps people to look back on fond times they had on vacation.

All of the pieces are made using locally sourced wood, leather, copper, and Swarovski crystals.

I can't believe I own an art gallery now 😳

I'm super excited and I'll be sharing more details soon. Be on the look out for some GREAT jewelry deals coming soon. I've got a lot of work to do to get this gallery going and I'm going to be taking on lots of financial responsibilities.

Hey local friends! Don't forget that I'll be teaching my beginner's bracelet wire wrapping class at Mineola League of the Arts Feb 16th from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7.

On February 23 I'll be teaching an intermediate bracelet wire wrapping class that builds off the beginner techniques to create a finely wrapped bracelet. Those classes will be from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7.

My wire wrapping classes fill up pretty quickly so be sure to head over to the Mineola League Of The Arts page and website to sign up or get more information.

$45 for non members
$35 for members

I supply everything so you'll only need to bring yourself and a friend. Guests are always welcome to bring their own pliers if they have them.

These classes are a lot of fun and you'll get an opportunity to learn a new skill set, make gifts for others, and meet new friends.
