A visual tale of my year. This year was the year of unearthing parts of self that was so entwined, it was hard to tease apart self, my own thoughts and those thoughts I internalized from others. Shadow work is a friend of mine. This year, literally was me doing the same s**t over and over, hence why I fu**ed around and found out, and did it again, until I got it. Then, it was the journey to self discovery, to understanding triggers, giving myself grace, untethering wounds I self assigned and held on to out of fear of letting go; it was self sabotage, people pleasing, and at times being so hard on myself, how could I convince myself that others loved me, when I would unlove myself in those moments of doubt. It was that kind of year of letting go of relationships, letting go of ideas and ideologies, it was leaning into spirit and accepting divine guidance and protection. It was all of this and some and the journey continues. So, I am here to say it with my chest, the things that most are afraid of saying out loud. This is my shadow work that comes to light. Take what you will from it. My journey is mine and mine alone, but I know, I'm not alone on the path.... As the year closes, I am even more open to what was discovered. I'm taking these things with me, not the usual leaving s**t behind nah, these lessons were valuable and I'm holding dear to them as teachers. I will share some of the tools I engaged in to do shadow work!!!

Shadow Work brings about a few things and one of them is to reaffirm the soft spots, the triggers and replace them with affirming and empowering thoughts!
