We hope you’ll join us for our upcoming Community Resource Fair & Family Fun Event on Saturday, August 24 from 10am-12pm at Manor Church! We will have information available from 21 community organizations on general health and wellness. We’ll also have family-friendly entertainment, games, food trucks, and a bounce house! Everything is being offered free of charge to attendees, including the food trucks.

Our Summer Party and Disability Health and Wellness Resource Fair was a HUGE Success! Over 70 people dropped in, 15 volunteers and 3 wonderful food vendors ( Sammy’s Kitchen, Cupcakes by Casey, 951 BBQ. And the fantastic staff of The Arc Lancaster Lebanon PA. Thank you to all who made the (very hot) day a success!

Vendor tables are set up and ready for Saturdays Summer Party and Health Resource Fair!

We know it's hot out but vendors will be inside and we have food, fun and games! So come on out!

This summer, Uber is introducing an option called Uber Caregiver that will allow Uber users to assign a caregiver to arrange, pay for and monitor rides for them as well as set up food deliveries. As part of the service, a three-way chat will allow caregivers and those they provide care for to communicate with Uber drivers. Additionally, caregivers will be able to see real-time updates as rides or deliveries are in progress. Uber is also partnering with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and commercial health insurers so that individuals can use any available benefits to pay for rides to medical appointments or to order groceries. As we recognize National Autism Acceptance Month, Early Intervention wants to help assist families with learning about local family education opportunities. One of those opportunities is the National Autism Conference held in Pennsylvania. This year the NAC will be held in Harrisburg at the PaTTAN Central Conference Center from August 5th through August 8th! Parent/Caregiver Scholarships are available to parent(s) and/or caregiver(s) of a child with an IEP or who receives Early Intervention (EI) services and meets certain qualifications. Scholarships will be granted on a first come first served basis, but with priority given to parent/caregiver scholarship recipients for the Children’s Institute. Eligible recipients are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

These funds will be provided through the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and the Pennsylvania Bureau of Special Education.

The Arc Lancaster Lebanon and Lebanon County MH/ID/EI are hosting a Disability Health & Wellness Resource Fair on Saturday March 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Area Agency on Aging Auditorium at 710 Maple Street in Lebanon. There will be resource tables, demonstrations, informative talks, health screenings and door prizes. This is a free event.

Feeling grateful today for Amy Austin whose 5 year anniversary with The Arc Lancaster Lebanon PA! Her dedication to her work and her love for her programs like SibTalk and Arc Academy and IM4Q is what makes us who we are.

The Arc Academy had Deputy Fire Chief, Adrian Borry from Manheim Township Fire Rescue join our group to talk about fire safety. We learned about what to do to prevent fires inside and outside our homes as well as what to do if there is a fire. The group also shared some tips on what fire fighters can do when they respond to a home where someone with IDD/Autism lives. Such a great evening with important information and lots of laughs too! Thanks again Mr. Borry!! You’ve made some friends for life 🥰
