Simple changes that make a big impact every day!
The Green Fair Folk Festival, held on August 7 and sponsored by the Franciscan Sisters, welcomed over 1,000 people to this year’s event. St. Francis Music Center’s percussion ensemble and URock bands entertained the large crowd in attendance. URock bands that performed included Some Kinda Different, Ava, Willing to be Hidden, Lost Boy, Face First and Sunny. All the entertainment was made possible through funding from Five Wings Arts Council and Spectrum Printing, Little Falls.
Beautiful temperatures and cloudy skies provided perfect weather for hundreds of people to enjoy the exhibits and earth-friendly vendors. Kids enjoyed a variety of fun events including a Teddy Bear Clinic, a Bike Rodeo and face painting just to mention a few. Franciscan Sisters were on hand to visit with fairgoers and offered tours of Sacred Heart Chapel and the campus grounds via horse-drawn wagon.

We invite you to attend the 2019 Green Fair Folk Festival on Wednesday, August 7, from 4-8 p.m., on the west lawn at St. Francis Convent, Little Falls.
Browse the exhibits and find earth-friendly products, green” education, fair trade items, seasonal produce and observe the work of local artisans, all while grabbing some delicious food from a variety of food vendors and listening to some amazing music. Appearing on stage will be the URock bands and soloists as well as the St. Francis Percussion Ensemble and Nashville recording artist, Levi Pelzer!
Kids can visit the Teddy Bear Clinic and stuffed animal adoption center, participate in a Bike Rodeo hosted by the Little Falls Police Department, and have their face painted or ride the horse-drawn wagon and enjoy an outdoor tour of the campus grounds.
The Green Fair Folk Festival, a community celebration where everyone is welcome, is free and open to the public. We hope that you come out and enjoy this fun evening!

Green Fair Folk Festival
The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls have hosted the Green Fair since 2007 & a Concert for Peace since 2004. In 2010, it was decided to change the name to Green Fair Folk Festival. The event is a combination of music, food, artistry, children's activities, education, exhibitors and much more! It's a wonderful community gathering and everyone in central MN should come!
The mission of the Green Fair Folk Festival is to bring the central MN community together to enjoy an evening of beautiful music, good food and ecological awareness.
