Pathways Academy and HCOP advocates are invited!

The HCOP scholars will be learning about different careers in the health area. Today, Dr. Ana Miller talked to them about the Doctor of Audiology program at UAMS. They also got to see different kinds of hearing aids and they learned how to correctly manipulate an otoscope.

The RAMP-UP scholars are having a great experience at the VA Hospital in Little Rock this week where they are volunteering and learning about different health professionals.

Our scholars are learning about the options they have so they can make informed decisions, they are also using their creativity on their vision boards. This is a way to begin planning and visualizing where they want to be in the future.

The HCOP residential program at UAPB is going strong! This is our second week and our scholars are working hard, learning, and developing skills.

What an awesome morning spent with the UAMS Pathways Academy scholars! Led by Chris Oholendt, OTR/L, MHSA and Sara Foster, PA-C, the students gained exposure and hands-on experience with suturing, casting, and blood flow restriction therapy in The Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital at UAMS - University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
