Last week, we celebrated our Methodist Behavioral Hospital during National Hospital Week. Our team at our hospital is diligent, dedicated and kind, delivering our mission of providing the best possible care to those who may need our help. Last week, today and every day, we are grateful to the professionals who care for the Arkansas children and families we serve. From everyone throughout our continuum of care, THANK YOU!
This past weekend, we welcomed Arkansas children and their families who are grieving the loss of a loved one to Camp Healing Hearts. This camp brings together families across the state to Camp Aldersgate where they can run, play, laugh, make new friends and understand they can hold both grief and joy in their lives. This free, overnight camp features all the classic summertime activities - fishing, canoeing, crafts, games, cookout, s'mores - and times to share how loss has impacted their lives. Our Kaleidoscope Grief Center, which operates through our outpatient counseling clinics, plans and coordinates this camp each year. We are grateful to the volunteers, team members and families who make this camp special for those attending. Please know you are always loved and never alone in your grief. We understand, and we are here for you.
