As Tropical Storm Beryl approaches Arkansas, the threat for tornadoes and flash flooding will go up. The greatest risk is over southern and southwest Arkansas, but will spread farther northeast as the system passes.

Although many of us are experiencing a break from the most intense heat and humidity on Monday. It returns with a vengeance as we approach mid-week. Highs return to mid-90s with heat index values above 100 on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, highs approach 100 with heat index values over 110.
