I am almost complete with my Shadow Coaching training and am so excited to be able to bring this additional healing tool to people who want to go deeper, break open and stop repeating old unhelpful patterns. Today I get to meet a client for the first time outdoors. Couldn't be a more beautiful setting.

IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH NOW!
So often, we wait until January 1st to start taking care of ourselves. Why wait? Commit to taking care of yourself throughout the holiday season and you will have a step ahead when everyone else is starting their New Year's Resolutions! Making a few simple commitments to yourself can have great effects on your health and may impact those around you as well.
Try setting the following commitments to yourself, one day at a time.
#1. - Commit to one self-care thing a day. This might be as simple as taking a walk or meditating for 5 minutes in between events so that you clear your mind and energy. Most of all, it creates a space for you to breathe and reset, quickly and on a regular basis throughout the day.
#2 - Commit to eating one healthy meal a day. Breakfast is a great time to start your day right and it allows your body to detox from any unhealthy eating you might have done the day before. Eliminating carbs from this one meal and focusing on protein, veggies and fruit, as well as nice big glass of water, can allow your body some time to rejuvenate a little longer.
#3 - Treat yourself once a week to something truly relaxing that is just for you. "Putting your oxygen mask on first" is not just for airplane rides.... it is also a great life motto. If we don't take care of ourselves, others will miss out on how great we can be! Get a massage, take a bath, take a yoga class, go for a nature hike, get away from electronics and read a book, anything that allows you to re-charge will not only benefit your own needs but will allow you to be more present for others.
#4 - Do unto yourself as you do to others. Be kind to yourself. What we say to ourselves that no one else hears can either help us make better choices or self sabotage our efforts. Shaming ourselves for slipping or making choices other than what we intended only leads to more negative choices. Try setting a daily intention of being kind to yourself and see how this affects your overall well being.... one day at a time!
Improving your health does not have to cost money, extra time or major commitments. Start today with these simple ideas and notice how much better you feel before January 1st!
