A Blessing

Growing up Catholic I have always had a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother. During a difficult time in my life a friend gave me a very old Lourdes rosary. Though I have and cherish several rosaries, this one seemed to bring a special light and feeling of peace to my heart. I was on a car trip with my husband thinking about how blessed I was to receive these rosaries. It occurred t

Hello. It's been a terribly long time since I've posted anything. I think Covid changed all of our lives and much of the time, not for the better. I have spoken to so many people and we are all trying to account for the terrible, painful loses we sustained. Friends, family, our homes and businesses. More horrendous our faith, in God and in each other. How could this have happened? Why? I think we need to find the good in all the hurt and pain. I was always taught "Faith before Fear." This is something I not only believe but carry in my heart always. So, here we are, some time has passed. We are days away from the greatest gift man has ever or will ever receive. I want to wish you all a Blessed, Merry, Wonderful Christmas. I want to thank all those lovely hearts that smiled and spoke kind words to me in the darker days. Mostly I want to thank God. I cannot close without a special thank you and a feeling of great love and joy for Our Blessed Mother. Be safe, be well and happy. And please, be sure to thank God for this Special Blessing we receive every December 25th. Merry Christmas and A Happy Healthy New Year! 💚🎄💚

Hello, Happy Spring. As always, I need to apologize for having neglected posting on my page. Its been a very busy and challenging year, for everyone. Marian Rosaries is working on our Fall schedule, we pray the venues we have signed with so far remain open. Yesterday was the Feast of the Assumption. It was also the day the Pope led the world in prayer for peace and unity in the Ukraine. Coincidentally, it was also the day Our Blessed Mother gave her message to us from Medjugorje. My husband, my dear friend and I also finished our Consecration to The Blessed Mother. Whew, what a day! My husband and I took the morning off to be in church and join the rest of the world in prayer. Many people dropped whatever they were doing at that time and said a rosary, listened to the Pope or just said a silent prayer. We are frequently reminded that a very special way to her Son is through Mary. Our country and this world have been through so many terrible and frightening things for sometime now. Many of us have survived mostly through prayer, reciting the rosary and attending church. We don't know what God has in store for us, only that He loves us and everything He does is for our best interest. I wish I could say my faith is so strong that I don't worry or question or feel angry and scared. Maybe that's why today was such a monumental, historical and unifying day. Mary deserves our thanks and our love. Today we prayed as one, gave Her our full attention and asked sincerely for Her help and intercession. Please never stop praying. Never forget the gift of Our Mother's love and affection. Have a wonderful weekend. I wish you peace and comfort. God bless and watch over us all.

Today is a very special day, The Solemnity of Mary. We celebrate Mary becoming the Mother Of Jesus. Because of this day, we are blessed to call Mary our Mother. I also want to wish you a Happy New Year. I pray you are blessed with health, happiness and peace. Whatever your New Years resolution is, please pray for those protecting our country, our homes and our lives. As always, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Have a Blessed New Year.

Christmas is only 2 sleeps away. I imagine everyone is finishing last minute preparations. My dear husband and I have been rushing around trying to get everything prepared. Tonight I wrapped the last gifts. We are so blessed to be able to shop for loved ones, have food to cook and bake and a warm home to decorate. We put the Nativity in our yard and I can stand for hours just looking at it. I cannot imagine going through what Mary and Joseph did. From the Annunciation to giving birth in a stable. All because or Blessed Mother said "yes". She brought the greatest gift we can ever receive into the world. When I say my rosary tonight I will once again say thank you. I pray you are safe and warm at home. I pray you are with your loved ones. Enjoy every second of this season. Have a blessed evening.

Hello. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is just a day away. It seems as though the holidays are coming faster ever year. Thanksgiving is a time for us to remember all the blessings we are given. It's preparing food and football games. I am grateful for so many blessings, my family and friends, the roof over my head and the food in my refrigerator. I'm thankful for the work I've been blessed to do and the people that make my job possible. There are so many things that scare and worry me that I sometimes forget these blessings. Enjoy your holiday with those you love. Eat all the delicious food you took such pains to prepare and for just one day forget about calories. Tell those spending the day with you how important they are to you and how much you love them. Know we are so grateful for all the people that stop to say hello to us and share their stories with us. We pray for you always. Happy Thanksgiving. Have a blessed holiday. Deirfiur gra agat.

Hello, Today we celebrated Veteran's Day. We thank the men and women that have sacrificed family time, personal comfort and in too many cases, their lives. We thank their families. My Dad served in Korea. In those days it wasn't considered a war, it was a "Police Action". My Dad was a Forward Observer, he fought with the 69th Division. The Fighting Irish. Every Veteran's Day I wear his division pin. I'm so proud of him and what he stood for. God bless each and every Soldier, Fireman, Policeman. God bless their families. Please say an extra prayer for all these people tonight. I'm so proud of our country and the men and women that protect and represent us. Have a cozy night and a wonderful Friday.

Good Evening. Today, October 13th, we celebrate The 104th anniversary of the Mircle of Fatima. Our Blessed Mother granted us a miracle to help us believe in Her and Her Son. I have heard about the miracle of the sun. I hadn't heard that there were 3 visions shown to one of the three children, the eldest, Lucia before the sun spun and changed in the sky. The first image Lucia saw was the Holy Family. Our Blessed Mother in white with a blue mantle holding the Child Jesus, St. Joseph also dressed in white. Jesus and St. Joseph blessing the people three times by making the sign of the cross over them. The second vision was Our Lady of Sorrows (without the sword) looking down and Jesus from the waist up carrying the cross. The final vision before the miracle of the sun was Our Blessed Mother as Our Lady of Mt. Carmel holding the baby Jesus, smiling down on the people. Each vision representing The Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries. (The Luminous Mysterys hadn't yet been added to our Rosary). The people gathered in a wet field on a rainy day, some believers, some curious and others disbelievers. At the end of the miracle the rain soaked people found themselves dry, as was the wet, muddy field. Today Masses were said, rosaries recited and this miraculous story retold. I have a special devotion to Our Lady of Fatima. I have prayed to know if I'm going in the right direction, doing what I think I should be doing with my rosaries. I was Blessed with the answer today, by a very dear lady named, of course, Maria. Belief and faith can be very hard for so many of us. Thank you, Blessed Mother for hearing my prayers and showing me the way. Have a blessed evening.

Good Morning and Happy October. Gosh, the summer flew by. I remember my Grandma telling me that as you grow older, time seems to go by faster. Boy, was my Grandma right. The leaves have barely started changing and I'm getting that "bring out the quilts and bake pumpkin bread" kind of feeling. Today my dear husband and I will take out the flowers ( always breaks my heart) and put up the pumpkins and fall decorations. Sweaters and jeans will replace tank tops and shorts. The skies in Michigan will be a blue so bright it will sting your eyes or so gray the streetlights will come on at four in the afternoon. October also brings a beautiful reminder of our blessings from God. October is the Month of the Rosary. To me its another chance to be grateful for this perfect gift. We are told that when we recite the rosary we are never alone. The angels and saints and thousands of people here on earth are reciting with us, always. I get a little flutter to realize we are saying the exact words Our Blessed Mother and others from the Bible have gifted us. I have read many times, particularly in these truly tense and troubled times, that our rosary is the true weapon against evil. It's sometimes hard to think of Our Blessed Mother, so loving and patient being in charge of such a terrible force but who better to love and lead us to Her Son? We are so busy and the news is seldom happy. It can be overwhelming. When you feel worried or sad or at an end of your patience, please remember She is always there, waiting to help and comfort you. If possible, recite the rosary with others. Everyday is another chance to honor our Blessed Mother and all she does for us. This month we can honor the great gift she brings to us in the rosary. I wish you all a Blessed Autumn. I will pray the rosary knowing many of us are praying g together. Please add Marian Rosaries to your prayer list and a special prayers to my dear friend Cindy. God bless and watch over you.

Hello. Its been 8 months since I posted anything. I wanted to, but it seems whatever is said, even in the kindest spirit, causes derision. Because I am unable to wear a mask I spent a year at home. I was unable to enjoy the most basic activities. I couldn't buy gas, couldn't grocery shop. The most painful loss for me was not being able to attend church. I felt so alone, frustrated and angry. When I did find a store with an open policy, I had to deal with people screaming at me, calling horrible names and worse, suggesting I was a murderer. It seemed to me that if these people felt safe with their masks, I shouldn't be a threat. I don't know when it became popular to intimidate, insult and abuse anyone, let alone a stranger, but it did. These people didn't know me. They didn't know how hard I was praying for them, for all of us. They had no idea I was sending rosaries and notes to those that had lost hope. (Again, I want to thank everyone that helped me get in touch with these people). In January my husband, my dearest friend and I consecrated ourselves to the Blessed Mother as we have a few years now. At the end of the preparation it is suggested you go to Confession, receive Communion and sign the pledge in church. I had done everything possible to get in touch with my parish priest, to no avail. Not attending church was terrible but not receiving the sacrement of Communion, especially at such a dark time, made me feel hopeless. I wanted with all my heart to follow the guidelines for the Consecration. This story does have a happy ending. My dear husband found, after many phone calls, a parish that not only welcomed me, but insisted I attend church immediately. I never took my freedom for granted, I have always thanked God for allowing me into His home. I'm happy to report that I am still attending this church. I know we all experienced pain, illness, loss and fear. I pray we once again learn kindness and respect for each other. We are attending a few shows this year. It's sad that many shows will not be held this year. I will post our schedule as soon as I can. I look forward to seeing you. Please remember to pray for us as we will always pray for you. Pray for our great country.. Have a blessed week.
