READ BETWEEN THE LINES
Unlike many coaches I have not posted a lot of before & after shots, not because I don't get results but because most pictures on social media fail to tell the truth behind the transformation. Many of you get a false sense of the process because of the untold. The time, sacrifice, work, food, lack of food, commitment, motivation, failures, losses etc.
Many people have made comments to me as if what I look like has happened overnight, the reality is just like you I have a story and have gone through many journeys & seasons in my life.
There were seasons where I was in the gym for 7 days/week, no days off, 2hr daily workouts + cardio, 10 meals/day, no cookies for month, no carbs for weeks. Seasons of depression using food for comfort, having no desire to workout, gaining 10lbs within weeks. Seasons of growth that birthed dreams but required sacrificing working out in the gym to build a gym. Sleepless days, gym hopping & financial sacrifices. Seasons of being vegan. eating 5 salads daily, drastic weight loss but being the healthiest I have ever been in my life. Seasons where priorities shifted & my health was more important than my looks & my God given purpose & my client's health was more important than the dream.
No matter the season, in between the lines was the pursuit to be better than I was yesterday, the will to never give up, the strength to get up when I fell down, the drive to finish what I started, the understanding that losses made room for gains, the perseverance through temporary sacrifices, the trust in my God given gift that always make room for me, and the knowing that my faith in God & the process would always be transforming!
The point of my transparency is that everyone has a story IN BETWEEN THE LINES. As you scroll through and see transformations I encourage you to change your perception and look at the bigger picture. Don’t compare, compete or set an expectation, I encourage you to use those pics as motivation to transform and create your own story in between the lines of your before and after.
Your transformation is always bigger than what the eye can see.
