I can remember when I fell in love with making jewelry, yet didn’t know the first thing about all the things that involve kicking off this small business. My background was in Education not Business.

I read, took classes in many different areas to feel more comfortable in how to do this small business thing. I also continue to learn, there is so much more I can learn to do better.

Please notice that there are two Hematite necklaces and one with Black Spinel gemstones. Due to the natural occurrence of gemstones, often the same stone cannot be duplicated. This is what makes these necklaces unique and one of a kind.

Each one measures from 13 3/4 inches to 15 inches.

✨Just listed Contemporary Cross Necklace ✨

Each necklace includes a crushed gemstone charm in several different stones, it hangs from a stainless steel chain. The chain may look delicate but stainless steel is incredibly strong and anti tarnish. It’s one I recommend for younger individuals due to its strength.

Are you a fan of matchy matchy?

Real Candytuft flowers are in both the pendant and earrings. The flowers are from this year’s flower garden.

Some cool colored gemstones as we are in a hot and humid weather trend here in Chicagoland.

The gemstone bracelets are in the website shop. The photos don’t illustrate the beauty of these gemstones.

First bracelet includes faceted Larimar gems that are beaded onto an artisan tube. The faceting makes them sparkle and they are only found in the Caribbean.

Hubei Turquoise are the gems in the second bracelet. They have rich turquoise color and come from the province of Hubei in China.

The not so pretty photo of parchment paper after flowers have dried. I want to show you the moisture that is absorbed into the paper as flowers dry. Look at the left side of photo, there is a wrinkling of the paper. That is the moisture that was in the flowers. Now, after several days they are dry and ready to be used in designs.

The Jelly Rings sold out at our last event! There will be more rings tomorrow at Bloomingdale’s Maker’s Market in the Village of Bloomingdale, IL From 10am - 2pm. Located in the parking lot of Old Town Bloomingdale. They’ll be music, on-site parking, plenty of food and over 80 makers. The Bloomingdale Maker's Market

This necklace has a chain that I hand wired with gemstones. I used Apatite gemstones. I also hand wired a Custom Order with Amethyst gemstones.

What natural occurring gemstone is your favorite?

Working in my studio today then going to a concert with The Fray at the Brookfield Zoo tonight. Getting ready for a short vacay next week.
