Northern Bred Geckos
No longer breeding. We have no geckos. Please do not message asking about gecko availability.
Something I’ve been considering for awhile since I’ve gotten out of breeding is to sell this female we’ve dubbed “oddball”. She’s 4 1/2 years old, I only bred her once about 3 years ago but lost half the eggs. Her original pairing was giant aptor het eclipse x giant raptor. I have never been able to prove out whatever weirdness is to with her coloration but reality never tried much as I was really winding down in breeding. I figured I’d put it out there in case someone else has any interest in continuing this project.
*These are some older photos but her adult coloration is the same. I included hatchling and sun adult coloration as she did go through a transition. I will be grabbing some updated photos this weekend.
*Sold
Some of you may recognize this guy. He use to be one of our male breeders. With us not breeding anymore I am looking to sell him. He has a great temperament, but only keeping a few and I have 5 males. Great breeder, made beautiful babies, he’s 5 years old, easy keeper. $175
*older photos of him flared up under natural lighting.
I had a few people this winter interested in the h.binoei. Now the weathers better I can ship out so those who were interested just shoot me a follow up pm!
I have some spare h. Binoei if anyone’s looking for a neat little communal species. Care is pretty straightforward with these guys, I have a write up on a previous post. Similar to mourning geckos in that they can hatch snd live with their offspring. They do beat in groups, will make quiet barking noises at night. Even during the day can often be found just “splooting”.
Locate pickup at this time only due to it being winter. For those interested in shipping come this spring I’ll be able to ship out.
Originally a hold back, releasing this male crested gecko. 2 years old this winter, great eater, can be a bit flighty. Lily white lines from mother’s side.
SOLD
While we’re retired from breeding I do have 3 ladies that will be looking for new homes. These were all hatched by myself.
-Pure mandarin sunglow no know hets straight from designer gecko stock. Hatched:4/20/17
-jungle tremper 66% ph eclipse. Lots of nice lavender, was going to be used in a bold tremper project. Hatched: 05/13/2019
- Tremper bold cross from geckoboas Afghan lines. Also was to be used in bold tremper project. Hatched: 07/18/18.
Small gecko species called Tropiocolotes tripolitanus. Really stinkin cute and not overly flighty ♥️
Because he also had a few questions on bioactive terrariums yesterday, below is a link to our "how to" in setting up a bioactive.

We’ll be vending the Massachusetts Reptile expo tomorrow! Make sure to drop by and say hi, we’ll have lots of critters with us this time including this proven breeder male crested gecko!
Green sipaliwini
Just chillin like that. Anoles are weird. 😂
matoatoa brevipes, also called the salamander gecko, they’re fairly slow moving and curious for a smaller species of gecko. I’m currently on the lookout for a male to go with her.
The only smaller species of frog we still keep, banded intermedius. Really like these guys as they’re pretty bold little guys. We’ve had them for over 4 years now and hoping this year I’ll finally find a male to go with them.
Snug as a bug ♥️
Heteronotia binoei is a small terrestrial species from Australia. These guys are always out and generally aren’t bothered by my presence. I don’t handle them much but when I do they’re content to just plop on your hand and chill after being scooped up. The adults in particularly tend to be a bit slow and unconcerned once they realize you aren’t there to eat them.
Couple that with fairly easy care, and do well in small groups. They are parthenogenetic, meaning no male is required for reproduction! All around an underrate fun little species that makes a great display animal without taking up much space.
*Last photo is what I keep 4 adults in. It’s a 10gal bioactive with beetles as my cleanup crew. Temperatures 77f to a 80f in the cooler parts of the enclosure with branches that lead up to a 100f basking spot. Since I do find them out and about during the day I use a uvb bulb for them.
This is also an insectivore species so their main staples are crickets and mealworms and a mild misting schedule. I have flat cork pieces in the back which is also where they usually like to hide
Happy 2nd birthday to one of our first red foot hat hours! ♥️ 🐢
She is beauty, she is grace...she also has some egg on her face. 😂
This is why I don’t put my fingers near the top of his bin 😂 if it moves it’s food, and he’s very fast to grab food... as seen in exhibit A.
