Summer Files: It was an honor for to launch ‘s online destination and pop-up in — a fine photography destination by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Taylor O’Sullivan, where Mother Earth’s artistry is brought into sharp focus.

Honoring the ‘culture of the earth, the gallery’s vibrant collection of nature-inspired prints captures moments from Taylor’s travels across over 60 countries: Earthy nuances, meditative nature scenes, and enveloping landscapes preserve otherwise fleeting magnificence in timeless prints.

Interior designer Amber Sokolowski of aimed to turn her family residence into a classy, mid-century, design-forward home filled with personality. Her goal was to honor its mid-century bones and preserve its original form and character.

“The home was built in 1959 so I wanted to keep the mid-century bones,” Amber said. “I also love Palm Springs and I wanted the house to feel a bit like desert meets the ocean,’ which is very Southern California to me.”

The dramatically transformed, iconic Gable and Lombard Penthouse and The Johnny Grant Apartment at The Hollywood Roosevelt, designed by Los Angeles-based firm .

The penthouses are named in honor of Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, American film icons who resided at the hotel in the 1930s, as well as host and television personality Johnny Grant who made the hotel his permanent home in the nineties.

Says Kevin Klein, “We wanted the guests entering the suites to be uncertain whether the renovation had been completed in 2020’s, or the 1920’s. We wanted to make sure the suites felt new and updated, but at the same time we needed them to feel lived in, timeless, and of a previous generation.”
