What better way to get fed than an airplane delivery?! Sweetcheeks, our red tegu, eats a wide variety of foods. UPDATE ON OUR BABY SLOTH. At 3 weeks of age we found that the baby wasn't gaining weight and was getting dehydrated. This was mostly likely because the mother was not producing enough milk and she subsequently rejected caring for him. We had no choice but to hand rear the baby who was under the constant care of WLC's veterinarian for 4 months. He is doing well and eating solid foods and is growing and gaining weight.
