Some thoughts on today's events on Pico- Today was a sad day for the neighborhood. We generally love a line in front of the door- but not a police line. Today we got a taste of what it has been like on college campuses. It doesn't taste good. Those who know me, know that i am not an alarmist, but today was alarming. We are thankful that things did not escalate further- We will continue to proudly fly both the American and Israeli flags in our window and call for the release of the hostages and an end to a war that is killing too many. Tomorrow we look forward to a day of sambusaks, not shouting. A day of coffee, not kafiyyas hiding faces. A day of pieces of cake, not poisonous rhetoric. Am Yisrael Chai. Bring Them Home.
