Professional dancers: modern/contemporary, strong ballet and jazz background, strong tap for some repertory, strong stage presence, ability to create characters for some parts, expressiveness, musicality, and technique. Floor work is important and ability to improvise helpful.

Los Angeles Choreographers & Dancers' (LA C&D) dynamic theatrical style brings high energy entertainment to concerts, festivals, workshops, and master-classes, with a freshness, sensitivity, and polish that has earned the company both critical and audience acclaim.
Since our beginnings in 1979, our goal has always been to develop inventive, interactive programs for families that incorporate multigenerational and multicultural components. Founder Louise Reichlin uses metaphorical imagery in her choreography and draws from movement and music from cultures around the world in order to evoke an awareness of unity. Probing and provocative, LAC&D's works explore our world from ancient Celtic rituals to tomorrow's high technology.
