INGREDIENTS
2 oz tequila
1 oz FRESH lime juice
2 tsp powdered Swerve (Iโd try liquid stevia or lime mitoplex)
2 oz orange-flavored seltzer
INSTRUCTIONS
Prep your glasses. Cut a wedge of lime and run it around the glass rim. Put coarse salt onto a plate and dip the rim into the salt and make sure itโs coated.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Add the tequila, fresh lime juice, and powdered Swerve. Shake well.
Add orange seltzer, and only give it 1 or 2 gentle shakes, so the seltzer doesnโt fizz up.
Fill your glasses up with ice and pour margarita over ice. Add a lime wedge and serve.

Personally, I extend my fast by drinking my NAT in the mornings. They naturally suppress my appetite while fueling my brain and body so I eat my first meal when hungry (typically lunch or later).

Use โalternative sweeteners": Monkfruit, Stevia, Erythritol [Swerve] & Allulose; these have minimal or zero glycemic index๐๐พ.
This is awesome because it is a fair representation of what the scale looks like as you are consistently losing fat over time.
This is why I preach to STAY OFF THE SCALE!!! It is a number...and a number that will drive the wrong mental behavior, especially when you're doing all of the "right things" yet still focusing there.
Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. And if youโre doing the right things and if you must measure progress, focus on inches lost (try a soft measuring tape or a specific pair of pants) and how you feel!

It is important to remember that while fruits are natural, they also can hide LOTS of sugar! ๐๐พ
Sugar, even if from a fruit, will prevent ketosis and kick you out of ketosis, which will absolutely hinder your progress with a keto diet.
Good rule of thumb is to stick with berries (watch serving size) and ๐ฅ to keep the sugar down! ๐๐พ
Using keto sticks or a glucose meter will give you feedback on whether or not youโre following the diet correctly and if youโre actually in ketosis.
Growth and comfort to do exist. If you are not uncomfortable and changing growth will never happen.
It's action that creates motivation. You don't have to be perfect at Keto just do anything that moves the needle in the right direction for a better you.
