��Let us introduce you to these lovely ladies, Julia, Tara, and Kyra; not only do they train together in our semi private group sessions, but they’re roommates too! ��

Back in January of 2022 Tara initially came in to work on improving her form and technique for her passion of running and in preparation for completing an upcoming marathon. ��

Initially she had done what most do, simply run miles on her own in hopes of building a routine to build her endurance to complete 26.2 miles. ��After doing it her own she experienced shin splints, some pain + discomfort on her longer running sessions, and knew she had to find professional coaching to not only help her reach her goal; but ensure she would do it safely.

��She instantly booked her intro session with us and was given an exact plan on how we would take her from where she was currently to her completing her marathon in record time and pain free. ��

March 2023's community workout donations will be donated to the ASPCA - American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. 🐶🐱❤️

We never charge for our community workouts, all proceeds received are donated to our featured monthly charity partner.

🔥CAN WE JUST TAKE A MINUTE TO CONGRATULATE NOT ONE, BUT TWO OF OUR CLIENTS; OUR CLIENT COUPLE, NEELI & JAVIER! 🔥

We are so proud of them for all that they’ve accomplished during her time working with coach .dotkakarot . 👏

Want to know the secret to making massive progress?

It's often stated that you are the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with and believe that wholeheartedly and our most succesful clients do too.

Here's what I mean.

When reached out, he was already putting his health first and boxing several times a week and watching what he ate, but something was missing.

‼️If you're not doing at least 4 of these daily you might be wasting your time in the gym.

We have a saying at Virtuo, "it's not what you do in the gym that matter's most, it's the other 23 hours that make all the difference."

The shocking truth about how to lose weight! ⬇️

There's this misconception that in order to lose weight you have to either eat less, prioritize more cardio, or a combination of them both.

What does that actually mean? Fasting for hours? Cutting out carbs entirely? Eating an unbalanced amount of your macronutrients collectively? How do you know if you're eating sufficient protein, carbs, fats, and micronutrients?

The other portion of this old school way of thinking is doing cardio over weight training.

Does it mean running for an 1+ hour on the treadmill? CrossFit 7 days a week? Lifting light weights only or skipping them completely? There are so many other questions that could arise as we dive deeper and deeper.

There are several components that going into weight loss. We know that if you move more you need to eat more, if you move less you need to eat less. Calories works similarly like money, you can't spend what you don't have.

Following this old school mentality of "eating less and more cardio" is a one size fits all approach and makes it seem so basic and effortless; when in reality it's far more in depth than it seems and needs to be customized for each individual.

‼️What everybody ought to know ­­ about how to sustainably and safely lose weight!

We all want to drop bodyfat, maintain (or put on more) muscle, and get toned + defined; so why can't we do this?

There are so many trending diets out there and it’s very overwhelming trying to figure out which one will work for you. 😵‍💫

Funny enough, they all share a few things in common:

⚠️ They're short term with drastic requirements in order to be successful

⚠️ Not enjoyable or sustainable, often times very frustrating

That’s the question we ask every client the first time they set foot in

What are the 4 most deadliest words you can tell a personal trainer ever?! 😵

☠️ I’LL.
☠️ START.
☠️ ON.
☠️ MONDAY.

If we had 1/8 of a penny, or even a 1/12 for every time our team has collectively heard this, we’d have . . . . . uhhh, a lot of money! 😂

While we’re being slightly playful on this topic, it is something serious that is very overlooked, creeps it’s way past just the realm of fitness, & into more aspects of your life.

We’ll refer to this phrase as an “escape phrase” & here is the problem of using it:

❌ There will always be an upcoming Monday, it is inevitable, therefore you will always have time to “start” over (& over) again.

❌ It prevents you from creating a healthy lifestyle, allowing for a unhealthy diet style mentality to develop. In short, creating a quick & short fix over something sustainable & enjoyable.

❌ It weakens your standards, creates commitment issues, & bleeds into other aspects of your life unknowingly. If you can’t commit to doing something for yourself, how can you expect to commit to someone, something, a project, etc.
