আমেরিকার মাঝে ছোট্ট একটা বাংলাদেশ
আপন বাজার এর শুরুর বয়স হয়তো এক সপ্তাহ হবে কিন্তু এর জন্ম হয়েছে ২০১৩ সালে। তখন আমি Texas A & M University তে MBA করতে যাই। শুরুতে সবার মতোই বার্গার, পিজ্জা আর কোলাতে বেশ ভালোই দিন কেটে যাচ্ছিলো কিন্তু কিছুদিন যেতে না যেতেই নিজের ভিতরের সেই বাঙালীটা জেগে উঠলো।হন্য হয়ে খুঁজতে শুরু করলাম নিজের দেশের খাবার। কিন্তু ইন্ডিয়ান আর পাকিস্তানী খাবার ছাড়া তেমন কিছু আর পেলাম না।তখন শুরু হলো নতুন এক অধ্যায়, নিজেই রান্না করে খাওয়া। কিন্তু তখন আবার বাঁধ সাধলো আমাদের দেশি মসলাগুলি কোথায় পাই? কিছু বন্ধু মাসে একবার, ৪-৫ ঘন্টা ড্রাইভ করে ওই সব কিনে আনতো কিন্তু পার্ট টাইম জব করায়, সময় মতো ওদের সাথে যেতে পারতাম না। ঠিক তখনি মাথায় আসলো যদি কখনো সুযোগ হয় তাহলে আমার মতো মানুষদের জন্য কিছু করবো। তারা যেন ঘরে বসে দেশি প্রোডাক্টস গুলি অর্ডার করতে পারে।প্রয়োজনে দেশি Snacks বিদেশী বন্ধুদের উপহার দিতে পারে।
সেই ভাবা থেকে আজকে দীর্ঘ ৫ বছর পর চালু করলাম www.aponbazarus.com, তবে এই অসাধ্য সাধন করতে আমাকে অনেক প্রতিবন্ধকতা দিয়ে যেতে হয়েছে, কিন্তু থেমে যায়নি।অনেক মানুষের নিরলস চেষ্টা আর ভালোবাসাই আজকে আমাদের এই প্লাটফর্ম করতে সহায়তা করেছে। সৃষ্টিকর্তার পরে, সব চাইতে বেশি কৃতজ্ঞ থাকবো আমার বাল্যবন্ধু মিরাজের কাছে, কেননা ওর অস্তিত্ব ছাড়া এই প্লাটফর্ম দাঁড় করানো এতো সহজ হতোনা।আর তাছাড়া একসময় USA তে আমরা আমাদের ব্যবসার সূচনা করি। তারই একটা প্রশাখা এই আপন বাজার।
আপাতত আমরা ২৫০+ প্রোডাক্টস দিয়ে আমাদের যাত্রা শুরু করলাম এবং ইনশাআল্লা যদি আপনাদের Feedback ভালো পাই তাহলে খুব জলদি আমরা Frozen Snacks, হালাল মাংস এবং দেশি মাছও বিক্রি করবো। আর প্রতি মাসে নতুন নতুন প্রোডাক্টসও যোগ করবো। অন্য দেশ যদি পারে তাহলে আমরাও পারবো, আমেরিকার মাঝে ছোট্ট একটা বাংলাদেশ গড়ার স্বপ্ন।
