MIAME IN ITALY magazine interview: 1- How did you get into entrepreneurship during your career as a model?
- When I was still working as a model I realized that I needed to start another job that would allow me to evolve in the professional field.
I needed to do a job where I was autonomous in the management of new projects and to start the day with new challenges.
So at some point in my life I decided to start building a parallel business focused on design.

2- How did you start working in the world of design as an interior designer?
- When I lived in Milan (Italy) I studied at the University of Contemporary Art Marketing
and Furniture.
From there my passion for art was born which later led me to approach the world of furniture and design.

4- Please tell us about your company SDL Design in LA?
- When I moved permanently to the USA I founded SDL Design, a company that deals with consulting for interior designer.

5-After the pandemic, how did you renew yourself in the design business?
- I have to say that the last two years have been very unstable for many small businesses.
At this point I understood that I had to continue forward and renew myself both in personal life but also in my career.
So I decided to create two new work projects that I am carrying out during this year. The first is called "Only One" focused on art and design and the second project is called "Sarah Love" which is an online e-commerce focused on fashion.

6- Can you tell us more specifically about the "ONLY ONE" project?
- I started an incredible collaboration as a partner alongside a great internationally renowned Italian artist 'Alex Turco'.
“Only One" is a beautiful project focused on the environment of furniture, art and design.
On this "ONLY ONE" project where together with the artist we would create a collection of unique pieces including sculptures, paintings and furnishing accessories worked mainly with resin.

I dedicated myself to reading a book called 'The way of the warrior' from Erwin Raphael McManus which talks about how a true warrior should compare the different adversities of life with wisdom. Here are some of my favorite phrases from this book:

I found Los Roques one of the most heavenly places I have ever been to. 🏝

We could enjoy a tropical climate of 26 degrees during the day in December. We could enjoy the sun during whole day!!! 🤩 ☀️

Enjoying infinite blue sea was a day-to-day mediation…. 🧘‍♂️🐬

The best way to arrive in ‘El Gran Roque’ is from the national airport in Caracas. If you travel from abroad the country I recommend to flight only with Copa Airlines through Panama.

From Caracas there are a couple of companies who provide a short flights of 30 mints to arrive to Los Roques.

Previously to our flight we booked a ‘Posada’ where to sleep for some days… it’s better if someone could recommend a place.

The services in Los Roques is very wild… so, it’s better if you don’t have a high expectation.
The room was very sample and the water is a real luxury when you got a shower.

Also, sometimes is missing the electricity during the day.
But you don’t have to really worry about it because the nature is incredible rich. You can see an incredible diversity of birds.

It’s the perfect location for kitesurfing and scuba diving 👍
Also, local people is very nice and kindly ✨

To end my visit in . We have decided to visit the Los Roques archipelago.

Los Roques National Park is a Venezuelan archipelago around 160 kilometers north of the capital Caracas in the Caribbean Sea.

The protected area contains more than 300 islands and cays surrounding a 400-sq.-km lagoon. The archipelago’s coral reef is popular with snorkelers and scuba divers.
