🌟 Provider Spotlight: Dr. Camille Loria, Dental Provider

👩🏽‍🎓 Dr. Loria received her BS in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2015 and her DDS from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry.

🦷 She is a general dentist who is passionate about providing patient-centered care with honesty, empathy, and education. Dr. Loria strives for collaboration and continued learning in order to provide the highest quality of dental care to the community. She believes in creating a safe environment so that patients feel empowered, respected, and seen.

💃🏽When Dr. Loria isn't in the office, you can usually find her trying out new restaurants or boba places in LA. She loves dancing or taking group fitness classes.

👨🏻‍🎓 Dr. Dadkhah received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and his DPM from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

🌴 He completed his podiatric surgical residency at Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

🦶🏽 He is fluent in English and Farsi and he aims to treat a wide range of foot and ankle problems in the underserved local community.

⚽ In his free time, he enjoys soccer, football, cooking, and exploring the city.

🌴 While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Michigan, she studied abroad in Costa Rica where she was able to enhance her Spanish speaking skills.

☀️ She was born and raised in LA, where she dreamed of one day providing medical care back to her community. Madisyn loves working alongside her patients to achieve their optimal health.

👩🏻‍🎓 Cam graduated from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She received her bachelor's degree in General Biology from University of California San Diego.

🌴☀️ Born and raised in SoCal and completing her education here, she has been dedicated to serving the people and communities of Los Angeles. She is passionate about women’s health and is motivated to enhance access to quality reproductive care. She has volunteered in Costa Rica with the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children providing health care to mothers and their children.

🐈 In her free time, she loves spending time with her 2 cats, Greyson and Brisket, and is hoping to get a dog in the near future.

CCALAC celebrates 30 years of advocacy and service!

Today we celebrate ! UCHC serves thousands of families throughout the South Los Angeles community at six clinical sites, a school-based site and two mobile clinics.

Here’s a selection of photos highlighting some of their proudest moments.

1. In July of 2021, UCHC expanded services to a school-based site, Quincy Jones Elementary School. CEO and Founder Dr. Edgar Chavez, COO Freddy Reynoso and School-Based Clinic Director Dr. David Lyons were joined by HRSA Administrator Carole Johnson.

2. UCHC expanded services with its mobile unit, which became instrumental in patient care during the COVID pandemic, in June of 2020. The mobile unit allowed UCHC to reach patients who had difficulty traveling to a clinic and increase access to COVID testing and education.

3. In February 2022, UCHC added dental services, offering sorely needed preventative care to improve dental outcomes in under-resourced communities. Featured in this photo are Dr. Rebeca Marin, dental director and Dr. Pouya Ansari, dental provider.

4. UCHC celebrated the grand opening of a new service site, O’Neill Clinic, in November 2023.

About Juneteenth
Juneteenth (short for “June Nineteenth”) marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. On June 17, 2021, it officially became a federal holiday.
