Last spring the #WallaceFoundation announced that Self Help Graphics & Art, along with 17 other organizations around the country from Omaha to Oakland, were selected to participate in a national, five-year, research initiative funded by the foundation. Together we’ll embark on projects that explore strategic challenges (which other non-profit arts organizations may be facing) with the goal of uncovering insights and new ideas to help advance equitable improvements in the arts. We look forward to sharing more in the years ahead! We recently had the pleasure of welcoming our fellow cohort in Los Angeles and hosting a reception where we collaborated on a community quilt and enjoyed live silkscreen printing, among our Muñecas de Cartón exhibition.
