Emmy nominations are out!

Check out some of the big celebrities earning first time nods and see which awards they take home when the show broadcasts live, September 15th at 5pm on ABC.

Lionel Richie is one of many artists nominated for an Emmy this year. His Netflix documentary, “The Greatest Night in Pop,” which explores the creation of the iconic song, “We Are the World,” has garnered a total of three nominations including one for outstanding documentary or nonfiction special.

Usher is officially Emmy nominated! He received his first three Emmy nominations for his Super Bowl Halftime performance in the categories: Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special, Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Variety Special, and Outstanding Variety Special (Live)

Selena Gomez received her first acting Emmy nomination for her role as “Mabel” in the show, “Only Murders in the Building,” which also makes her the most Emmy-nominated Latina producer under the “Best Comedy Series” category for her contributions as Executive Producer. The Hulu show picked up 21 nominations total.

Sofia Vergara is the first Latina in Emmy history to be nominated for lead actress in a limited series for her Netflix show Griselda, which was the platform’s most watched series the week of its release.

Ryan Gosling also earned a first time nomination. He made a lasting impression during his hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live,” back in April.

Bruce Springsteen is now the latest musician to officially reach “Billionaire” status according to Forbes.
